The room is very clean. I also like the location we have as literally 5-15 mins from everything. It was great! I also love the balcony room at the river. I was sit on balcony and watch the geese and their babies in the river. I would suggest this hotel to anyone going to Tennessee for the 1st time

The location was excellent, the breakfast was too crowded to try the flow of the crowd needs to be planned better the people were stumbling all over each other . A very bad experience. The breakfast staff was not helpful at all and the front desk person was very rude and for 250. Per night other hotels offer better staff service. But the bed was comfortable the room clean and the water pressure of the shower was the best anywhere . My over all stay was good but your staff could be more friendly and helpful.

FAQs about hotels in Pigeon Forge

A Tennessee Mountain Home

Pigeon Forge is a family entertainment hotbed in the Great Smoky Mountains. Though ‘great’ is quite an understatement, as the sight of blue mist hovering above forested peaks is simply breathtaking.

The most famous attraction is undoubtedly Dollywood, where a steam train puffs around a host of rides and shows in a theme park named after country legend Dolly Parton. Within the grounds is the Southern Gospel Museum and Hall of Fame, and next door are pools and waterslides at Dolly’s Splash Country.

Cowboy boots should be at the ready for the singer’s Dixie Stampede dinner theatre and the Country Tonite Theater, and toe-tapping is also virtually guaranteed at the Grand Majestic Theater and Smoky Mountain Opry.

The Old Mill is a wooden watermill on the Little Pigeon River, once part of a forge complex which sparked the town’s name. Also by the river are some Pigeon Forge outlet malls and the NASCAR SpeedPark which hosts car and truck events. The Elvis Museum houses memorabilia of ‘The King’ while the Titanic Museum is a floating, half-size replica of the doomed ship.

This is just the tip of the iceberg and with Booking.com’s great deals on pet-friendly hotels and cheap motels on Pigeon Forge Parkway, you might just be tempted to do what the town’s sign requests: Y’all come back.

I have watched Pigeon Forge grow since pre-Dollywood.

I have watched Pigeon Forge grow since pre-Dollywood. The planning is great. There are a total of 6 lanes for traffic and ample turning lanes and traffic lights to manage the heavy usage. The attractions are the best I have seen. We rode, Sky-Fly a clone of Soarin at Epcot and enjoyed it more than expected. Great restaurants including The Old Mill, our favorite, and diverse shopping. We had not been to The Island since it has been upgraded. We spent a day there and had a great time. AVOID PAULA DEAN'S restaurant. They play the scam of, all you can eat, but the servings are small for a large crowd and seconds must be BEGGED for and the wait time is prohibitive. I will never return and I warn everyone I can. They have done a great job of making the environment fun with animatronic dinosaurs placed throughout the area and a fantastic dancing fountain choreographed to music.

I am no stranger to Pigeon Forge, but this time I chose to do the more "touristy" things in the area. We had a great time playing mini golf, exploring the area, and eating all the food. As far as food goes it is not what I would call a foodie destination; food was fine but was typically bland. For better selections of food we ventured into Gatlinburg to Greenbriar Restaurant. Local attractions were plentiful and it is an extremely kid-friendly area. I wish there were more motor-friendly mountain activities for those who aren't able to hike or prefer not to do so.

Pigeon Forge is a great place for a short vacation.

Pigeon Forge is a great place for a short vacation. There is so much to do and lots of shopping. The Island is always very busy, but sitting beside the water fountain, watching the colorful water dancing to music is so relaxing. However, not a fan of the Jurassic Park theme. We have visited several times, and this is the first time the Island had such a theme, and we were there last year. It might be okay for children, but as adults, we're not a fan.

Our family's favorite vacation spot since the 1980's - now we are taking the grandkids.. We purchase season passes to Dollywood - amusement park changes themes and atmosphere with each season. Plenty of great restaurants to try in the area, easy transportation on the trolly if you don't want to drive in the area. We also enjoy the local mountain coasters, go cart tracks, putt putt golf, The Island, shopping and tubing in Townson. No trip is not complete without a visit to Gatlinburg - only a trolly ride away.

Everything we did was very good.

Everything we did was very good. The place we stayed was good and very well equipped. We stayed at River Crossings it was close to everything. Had a lot of fun. The show I like the most was Dollys stampede. We ate at Quaker Steak and Lube. Very good food I got boneless wings that were huge and good. Things were easy to find but the traffic was very busy. We did Titantic museum, Hatfields and McCoy, Rocky Top Mountain coaster, shopping, moonshine tasting and I mention stampede already.

    Love Pigeon Forge/Dollywood.

Love Pigeon Forge/Dollywood. The kids loved the Dinosaurs at the Island. Most breakfast places were packed with long wait times. Unless you want go to through a drive-thru - I suggest going VERY early if you want to get in to one. Although IHOP was a 10 minute wait and had good food.

It was so noisy, we were front facing and the noise from the road was horrendous, the walls of the hotel were thin and the room was very dated. Reception! We got a key for the room so I assume that must have been a reception!! Breakfast was terrible. The moral of this is don't look for the good in a review, trust the people who have made comments based on the experience the same as us

Everything, especially the below very important things: 1 starting from the check-in time, you will receive an SMS chatting message for any requests during the stay. I approached too many times and the respond was immediate. 2 Too many activities for the kids, from 9 am to 9 pm. It was hard taking the kids out of the hotel. 3 Two water parks and an amazing swimming pool.
