The hotel is very well located in the old quarter of Hanoi and near the lake. The rooms and bathrooms are beautiful and the breakfast was great. The staff throughout the hotel were very professional and the front desk team always very helpful. Great service. We will come back again.

Writing a review for this hotel is an absolute pleasure. We had a twin room which was clean and the beds to our liking, not hard. The staff? Justin, Julia, Jack and whole team at this hotel are simply amazing. Unfortunately I needed to go to hospital and they were able to recommended a hospital and arranged transport. (The service at the hospital was nothing short of 5 star, with a translator with me the whole time)Their concern for me on my return from hospital was like nothing I have experienced in all our years of travel and this continued for our 1 week stay. We felt like family and it was very sad to say goodbye to them. The location is perfect for night markets with food available everywhere outside the hotel. Breakfast at the hotel was another highlight: you can go Western or Asian, and both options were fresh and tasty, with a menu for choices for eggs, all served with a smile. We dined in the restaurant several nights during our stay and it was all delicious. All in all, this hotel is a gem – excellent service, great comfort, and an unbeatable price. Staying here was an absolute pleasure, and I wouldn’t hesitate to return and we will!

    Hanoi is a MUST to see in Vietnam, it’s beautiful, staying in the Old Quarter is amazing, streets are lined with trees, each street is different, brand new War Museum is fabulous, bars, so many choices of restaurants, “train street” and easy to ‘get around’. HIGHLY RECOMMEND

    We liked exploring Hanoi and surrounds.

    We liked exploring Hanoi and surrounds. The food and coffee were great. Lots of nice Banh Mi places (especially Banh Mi 25) and we enjoyed eating at Met4. There are lots of nice day and overnight trips that can be done. Unfortunately we ran into a typhoon which prevented us from doing Ha Long bay and some other activities. Things we didn't like - Exploring Hanoi on foot was not easy as sidewalks were blocked by scooters and other things, forcing you to walk on roads which were full of cars, scooters, rickshaws etc. There was also lots of rubbish on the streets.

    I like the hustle of the Old Quarter, but what really shine...

    I like the hustle of the Old Quarter, but what really shine through was the Museum of Ethnology, very peculiar and informative. The food is always packed with fresh vegetables. The egg coffee at Đinh is a must try. It is a little hard to get around at first, but soon I felt like Moses parting the sea of traffic with my powers. A very unique experience.

    It was the perfect located hotel to experience the old original Hanoi with easy access to other areas. We ate in the hotel for our ease as we were not there long enough to discover other eating places. Absorbing the atmosphere of Hanoi and being able to walk around easily.

    Its worthwhile experience to stay in Hanoi Old Quarter to...

    Its worthwhile experience to stay in Hanoi Old Quarter to immerse in Vietnam's city living. Getting around its easy by walking or by booking Grab/Xanh. Its also generally safe and clean with very little hassle from vendors. Locals are able to converse in some English or at least rely on online translation on the mobile. Hoa Lo prison museum is a must for one who wish to understand Vietnamese struggles against colonialism and their fight for independence. Its also noteworthy that the Hanoi Mosque is over 100 years old and was saved from being damaged during the wars. Travelling in Hanoi in cooler months is recommended as the high temperature and humidity in hotter months is really challenging.

    The hotel is set in the old quarter and is conveniently situated for visits to this and the French quarter.The breakfast was very good.The whole hotel is exceptionally clean and most of the staff are more than attentive ..reception staff are so helpful as are the bell boys .. my taxi to the airport was late as it had been given the wrong address by the dispatcher.. this was nothing to do with the hotel but about 4 staff helped me and resolved the situation.. they were truly exceptional and kind ..it’s a great base for exploring Hanoi.

    We had a wonderful stay with this La Sinfonía in Hanoi. The class of the hotel impacts as soon as you enter the foyer, you just say to yourself...Yes! The hotel and especially our room is spotless. It is perfectly placed in between the old quarter and the French quarter. The best of both worlds. Our Concierge (Rose) is such a beautiful human. Her recommendations for eating and sightseeing were superb. They were places that are not obvious to foreigners so seek them out from her. We are indebted to her.

    The hotel is very well located in the Old Quarter and the rooms are good sizes and with good air con. The best bit about the hotel is the staff who were all fantastic, so friendly and helpful at all times. Special mention has to go to Jen who looked after us on our stay who went above and beyond in helping us following an accident - really couldn’t believe the level of service given, truly exceptional. We would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Hanoi.

    Eliana Ruby hotel offers great value, at a very affordable price compared to other places we've seen in Hanoi's Old Quarter. The staff was really kind and helpful (shoutout to Anna at reception!), the place was super clean, it was quiet (an amazing feat in this part of the city!), and we had the best sleep of our month-long trip through Vietnam (bed quality was insanely good!). Add to that the made-to-order breakfast and... well, it was just perfect.

    I had an incredible stay at this hotel in Hanoi’s Old Quarter. The room was spacious, with large windows that offered breathtaking views of the city and Hoan Kiem Lake. The decor was modern yet luxurious, with a very comfortable king-sized bed, elegant lighting, and a beautiful marble bathroom. The breakfast was exceptional, and the food was delicious with Vietnamese and international dishes. Highly recommended for anyone looking for this experience.
