Fantastic atmosphere and facilities. Council have done a lot of work to make the place look and feel great to be in. Great amount of places to eat and good variety. Spacious walkways that are big enough to share with all modes of transport eg: walking, cycling, prams, motorised wheelchairs etc. everyone was so courteous to other users. Quiet and slow Queensland town.
Quiet and slow Queensland town. Main residents are elderly so not as many hoons and young people. Very friendly, plenty of bars/hotels. Beaches are amazing, never full. Plenty of places to fish. If you have a dog you must visit Dundowran Beach.Guest review byShell PAustralia - 10.0

Another touch of paradise in Australia, this destination has everything for sun and sand enthusiasts. There are numerous activities and adventures to enjoy in the area. It offers great value for your money, and you won't get bored, even during wet weather; there are plenty of sights and experiences to had. There are Islands to explore, sea creatures to see and touch (in the aquarium). Fishing is not recommended; the area has been overfished, although you could try the river systems, they're probably hiding there. Staying in Hervey Bay or Urangan has plenty of options to support your price range, allowing you to visit Aussie World or Australia Zoo for a full day of fun and adventure.
