Amazing how Glasgow has turned around from its grimy industrial past into the liberal cultural place of today. Nearby was the Tenement House museum and also the Royal Scots Fusileers museum apart from the night life of Succihal St Exelent public for exploring further afield.Guest review byKeithUnited Kingdom - 10.0

Paisley is a beautiful town with so much culture and history. It is a university town, a cathedral town and a town with beautiful buildings and a great heritage. The Paisley pattern was milled in the town of Paisley, therefore the name, Paisley pattern, The public transportation is excellent and the train station is right in the center of town, well you can take a train into Glasgow in 10 minutes and have access to trains going all over Scotland and the UK. I highly recommend a visit to this beautiful place.Guest review byMonicaIreland - 10.0

Nothing to do with the location ..but..the bus from Buchanan bus station dropped us off on the outskirts of Balloch on a very busy duel carriageway..which took ages to cross safely..why don't they terminate in Balloch's own bus station...much safer as we had to walk 15 mins to get to our accomodation in rough tarain... I'd hate to think of elderly people having to endure this ... shocked to be honest...nothing to do will The Tillie Inn..maybe something should be changed to prevent this.as it has put me off getting the bus...Guest review byTownsley - 8.0

It was a lovely wee gem of a hotel and brilliant value for money. Rooms were spacious and clean and comfortable. All the staff I had the pleasure of dealing with very friendly and efficient. They have a huge choice of food, a bar and smoking area and sun garden. As well as restaurant. Brilliant value for money and also easy to park. I didn’t notice much noise at all in the rooms and it was a Saturday night. I will deefinitelt be backGuest review byAnonymous - 10.0

A nice quiet area to explore parts of Scotland from, without paying out too much for accommodation, 30minutes to Glasgow Braehead Arena/shopping malls, 10 minutes to Bothwell Castle, 20 minutes to M&D's Scotland's Theme Park, you get the idea, Good spot.Guest review byliaqueUnited Kingdom - 10.0
Lodge was fantastic.
Lodge was fantastic. Staff were very welcoming and nothing was an issue. It was nice and peaceful. I'd have stayed a lot longer if I could. Everything you need is literally on the doorstep. Staff at the village shop were lovely and even took our photo as we just got married the day we arrived. Chris was very welcoming anytime we needed anything from the wee shop.Guest review byHand - 4.0
The room was very run down.
The room was very run down. Not worth the money I paid for it. If you are looking for a bit of luxury, go elsewhere. The spa is also shut at the moment. Walking to the restaurant for breakfast I saw a lot of water damage in the corridors as well. I think the whole hotel needs a revamp and I wouldn’t recommend a visit.Guest review byAnonymous
