Peebles is a beautiful little town set on the River Tweed. There are loads of walks and spectacular views. The birds we saw were amazing, crested gold finch and buzzards red starts and too many chiffon chaffs! Peebles is a lovely location.
Peebles is a lovely location. We enjoyed it very much and had beautiful weather! We took daytrips from there that weren’t too faraway ie. Floors Castle, Traquair, and also to St Abbs. Peebles had many little shops that I didn’t have time to visit. We would highly recommend a visit to the area. Staying at Peebles Hydro was a treat!Guest review byJohnCanada - 10.0

The hotel had a very relaxing atmosphere with very spacious public rooms and wide corridors. The staff were fantastic - plenty of them - and all very efficient and friendly.
