Picturesque perfection
Picturesque perfection What a picturesque place with so many wonderful shops, restaurants and riverside bars! To top it all, it is the home of the superb RSC theatre where we enjoyed a performance of A Winter's Tale. Must visit to the theatre for a show. Great atmosphere to just sit in the park and watch the world go by. Open top bus a great way to see a little more of the area. Some great restaurants (and some not so great) and lots of coffee shops. Good shopping area in the town centre. Beautiful town steeped in history and culture. Clean and tidy. Plenty of choice for eating whether it be breakfast, lunch or an evening meal and the price ranges are fair. There is plenty of choice and space for a picnic at the Recreational Grounds right by the river which makes it an ideal choice for families. We particularly loved the RSC Theatre and the riverside walks. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. We had dinner and breakfast here and both were above our expectations. It was delicious and the best meals we've had out for a long while. The rooms were spacious, modern and clean with great views over the fields. We said hello to some lovely sheep haha! 🐑 This is certainly a hotel we are keeping noted for when we are back around Stratford upon Avon as I would definitely stop here again.
