Easy and efficient transportation to/from the airport, very tidy and clean. Staff was super! As soon as we arrived, we were offered lemon water to freshen up. We got our room ahead of check-in official time. Room was very quite during the night although close to the elevator - due to the double door isolation. Showers are perfect, good water pressure and very clean. The subway to the city center is 10 minutes away (by foot). All in all this was a great experience and we will definitely come back.

We were in transit and only stayed two days. Did some shopping, spent the afternoon in El Retiro park and had drinks in a cool little bar recommended by the hotel, called Viva Madrid. Many tourist attractions within a short walk from the hotel. Would love to return in the future for a longer stay.

I liked Madrid however, if I go, next time I would go when its not very hot as we were walking around a lot and it was tiring. A lot of the locations are very close so it is ideal and you can tick a lot off your itinerary quickly. My favorite and recommended place to eat was Honest Greens. It's honestly amazing it has amazing salads, fries etc as well as a cafe. We walked it everywhere but I do recommend the buses and metro especially if it's hot or else its easy to get around. Also Prado Museum is free between 6-8pm everyday and we took advantage it's great!

Madrid is a vibrant and captivating city, full of energy and charm. The Royal Palace is a must-see landmark, offering a glimpse into Spain’s regal history. Nearby, day trips to Toledo and Segovia provide stunning architecture and cultural depth. El Retiro Park is a perfect spot for a relaxing family outing, with its lush gardens and tranquil lake. What struck me most was how lively the city feels—even in the early hours, the streets are bustling with people, all under the watchful presence of a well-coordinated police force that keeps the atmosphere safe and welcoming.

If you are interested in art and museums, please consider visiting Lázaro Galdiano Museum. Even though it is slightly off the beaten track, it is certainly worth your time. The collection is on three floors and dedicated to West European art. The Museum holds ver unique paintings of Hieronymus Bosch. It is staggering that such a (relatively) small Museum holds such a breadth of artworks. Please go, you should enjoy it.

Madrid has beautiful historical buildings, architecture and culture but it is not really a holiday destination. Dry and unbearably hot in summer. No river or lake While the wealthy areas are nice, the inner city is dirty and chaotic.

    Ornate buildings and monuments.

Ornate buildings and monuments. They are constantly cleaning the streets. Public restrooms are mostly underground and for those above they are a grey box with indication as occupied or not, and when you leave (15 minutes max) the bathroom self-cleans. Even after midnight we did not feel unsafe walking around, The Prado Museum is huge, comprised of three floors. You can easily spend an entire day there from open to close, across from where you enter the Prado is a set of steps that will lead to another street and a spectacular park across the street. This use to be the king's backyard. Monuments and fountains galore. A man made lake with beach, boats you can rent and row. Flowers, a rose garden, peacocks, lots of trails to walk, chess boards to play under the shade, workout area, musicians playing for free throughout the park. Live music. Blues clubs (if Danny del Toro is around) be sure to check him out. The man can blow harp (harmonica). Rock music, disco dancing. And of course there's Flamingo. Several art galleries and other museums. Great dining as well. You can easily spend a week in Madrid and not be bored.

Excellent location to visit Madrid city centre with its historic buildings, restaurants and parks. The room was very well-appointed. A bit cramped around the wardrobe area. Whole hotel was lovely with unique decor. Turn down service was a treat. The pool was not open in March - not sure we were made aware of that. Helpful, welcoming staff. Overall, certainly recommended.

The room was very spacious and had plenty of everything we needed. The hotel was close enough to the city centre it would've been nice had madrid been busy like it would be in the summer. Staff were mostly helpful and would go the extra mile to help out. My mum travelled with us and she stayed on her own, but felt safe and comfortable throughout our stay.

I really liked the airport transfer that took me from the airport to the hotel and also back again. The room was clean and I had the facilities I needed. There is a metro close to the hotel, and a little cornershop/supermarket. The metro went all the way to the city centre of Madrid.

Very good hotel for a weekend break in Madrid. Location is half way between the airport and city centre. The area itself around the hotel is ok. There’s not a huge amount to do or amanzing shops, but there’s a few patisserie’s around. It is 20 minutes on the metro to the city centre.
