This beautiful hotel is in a 500-year-old building that was originally the palace of a noble family. It is in a convenient location to walk to St Mark's Square, catch a gondola or waterbus, or dine in an uncrowded, romantic restaurant. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was delicious and was served in the most beautiful room. Best hotel experience ever!

Our room was great, classic but modern at the same time. Felt likea a fresh room that was recently renovated. Staff at the front desk (especially Andrea at the front desk) were great, knowledgeable and helpful. He pointed us in the right direction. Location is 20 minutes from main attractions and has a transportation stop if someone wants to take public transportation.

The location of the property is perfect. Vincenzo and Fabiano (the bartenders) were fantastic. They made us customized drinks! While it’s in close proximity to water taxi, land taxi, shopping and Gondola tours, it’s secluded enough for privacy, safety and peacefulness. LOVED IT!!

It was very busy and crowded in the beginning of August.

It was very busy and crowded in the beginning of August. We tried to find the less crowded areas - the Giardini della Biennale park was nice to stroll through, and going to Piazzetta S Marco square very early or in the evening was nice. Our favorite thing in Venice was attending a Vivaldi concert at a church. We didn't make reservations - just strolled and stopped wherever we felt like it. Prices are lower in some of the less crowded areas. We enjoyed taking the water buses around and seeing the island from the water, as well as a short trip out to Murano.

Venice is an amazing city to Visit, It's really easy to get around using Public Transport. It is very hot and busy in August, so avoid those times if you can. Murano and Burano are easy to visit but public transport. Murano is where the glass is made and Burano is a really pretty island with coloured building and resturants. There are a few main atractions people visit. But just wandering around and seeing where you end up is great. There are loads of non-touristy resturants. Easy to find.If you head out away from the main areas. But we found Trattoria alla Madonna , Osteria Al Potego, Ristorante Bacarandino, really lovely stop right by Rialto for lunch or a drink was Osteria Al Sacro e Profano, Tratoria Cea

Venice /La Serenissima/ is amazing, the Art, the History, and the food, great place to explore, to wander the streets, the canals and to feel the times gone by when the was the center of the world. Leonardo and Galileo were in Venice planning the future, inventing new principles and putting the sun in the centre of our solar system.

My second stay was at the Le Isole Hotel in Venice. Amazing breakfast (maybe even the best you can get in hotels in all of Italy of hotels of 3-star level), cleaning services, and very kind staff. The hotel is just in the center of Venice, a few steps from St Marco and it is super easy to get to the airport and back with the ferry which goes from the Venice airport because the station is just a few minutes walk from the hotel. Very calm, even if it's in the center, with clean rooms and good room service. I will be back again for sure!

Clean, comfortable, very friendly staff around 24/7, and our favourite stay of our whole trip around Italy. This hotel is in a quiet part of Venice, but not far away from the Grand Canal and other touristy spots in Venice. Our room overlooked the canal and the staff really looked after us! The bed was super comfy and the shower was wonderful - it was perfect for our few days stay in Venice. I also liked the fact the hotel staff would hold onto your room keys while you were out, which removed the stress of possibly losing them.

This must be one of the best hotels in Venice. Even though part of a large hotel chain, it still has the small family hotel atmosphere. The staff are extremely helpful and friendly and nothing is too much trouble with staff going beyond their call of duty. The position of the hotel must be the best in Venice, literally on the Grand Canal opposite a beautiful church Santa Maria della Salute and only minutes away from St Mark's Square. yet still peaceful away from the crowds.

Accommodation in Venice is extremely expensive in general. I think that Hotel Rossi is the best place to choose if you are on a budget. It doesn't have to offer much(no view, it is a small room, a little bit old and the beds were cots, the bathroom was nothing special) but if you want to rent a rather cheap place to have a room to shower and sleep is the perfect choice.

Lovely room, excellent location (2 min walk to St Marks square, 1 block from the grand canal), delicious breakfast buffet, roof top patio, super helpful staff, unexpected treats (chocolates, cookies, welcome drinks, parting gift), the best hotel we stayed in during our 17 days in Italy!
