The staff who serve at the bar and food halls are good. The rest walk around ignoring you. There is no phone charging points in the bedrooms. Hotel is dated inside & our superior room which we paid extra for wasn't the best & would of said it was a standard room. Very friendly staff, swimming pool and facilities very well kept and the kids loved it. The only down side was the restaurant/bar area had only 2 members of staff and was fairly busy, long waiting for the order and then the food came out at long distance as we were 4 adults and 3 kids we couldn't have dinner all together. Shedfield appears to be a just a main road with an estate and a few houses. Wickham down the road is very pretty - a co op, chip shop, takeaways. But central location for all the popular local attractions - Portsmouth, Southampton, Beaulieu, Chichester. You would need a car to stay here.Guest review byAndrewUnited Kingdom

It was furnished well, was warm and cosy, really inviting. Our room was lovely, 454. The staff were friendly and professional, attentive. I chose this hotel because of the pool. A session in the pool with jacuzzi, lovely steam room and sauna was £5 and well worth the money. This includes a fresh towel. You do need to book your time slot.
