Naturally beautiful place, very clean for being a busy little seaside town. Loads of lovely cool little shops and arts and crafts. Great variety of cafes and restaurants. Culture and history with Jurassic coast etc. Great spot. And great little mini aquarium. There are a lot of hills, bear this in mind. And windy streets that can result in bit of traffic congestion. The B&B was excellent.

Lovely atmosphere, friendly shopkeepers and restaurant staff. Excellent food choices - of couse plenty of fish & chips and other fast food outlets but also some more upmarket establishments - such as the Harbour Inn, serving catch of the day, fish pie and bouillabaisse. Lyme Regis is famous for its fossils, so there are numerous shops selling rocks and fossils from the Jurassic Coast and worldwide. Plus museums and the visitor centre.
