Not only was The Lion a wonderful location to explore the Cotswolds (and close to Stratford-upon-Avon) it was cute, quaint and so cozy. Mark (the owner) was incredibly nice and we loved our stay at his property. I can't say enough good things! He also helped us carry our luggage up the stairs. Rooms are small, but well decorated and comfortable. We had dinner at the pub and it was delicious!

The barn is in a lovely quiet rural location, and has been really nicely refurbished by Tom and Lucy who were very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our stay a lot. We'd recommend a visit to the nearby pottery and a meal at the Straw Kitchen.

A charming inn located in the beautiful countryside. The room had so much character and charm. The English breakfast was top notch. I would highly recommend this property.
The hotel is shocking! Possibly the worst I've ever stayed in and I've camped!
The bar area was probably the best part of the hotel room was very dated and in need of a very good clean the staff basically left us to it no interaction or anythin unless I approached them with an issue

We visited on a Sunday around 7pm and all the pubs had just stopped serving food. We were recommended to go to the Italian restaurant Fratelli. So gladwe went there. Food was excellent and at a reasonable price.

It is a nice pub in a quiet Cotswolds village, east to reach and find. The whole pub was nicely decorated. The room was spacious, quiet, well kept and comfortable. The room had a boutique hotel feel with character and style. The bathroom too was stylish and roomy. Shower excellent. There was a small fridge and a coffee maker in the room and the TV had netflix, all nice extra touches. The staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was exceptional. This place is highly recommended. Would want to stay there again when in the area.
Perfect location, right on the very edge of beautiful Shipston on Stour. Flat was lovely with 2 double bedrooms, comfortable lounge and kitchen. Everything you could need was right there and so close but no outside noise you could expect from such a great location. Naomi, the host, was lovely and couldn't have been more helpful. It was a fantastic long weekend and we will definitely stay here again.
Such a great place to stay - the house is gorgeous and so lovely. Loads of space and spotlessly clean. Perfect for family / friends getting together. Loved all the outdoor space too - especially for kids. Lots of places to explore and play in. The trampoline was a huge hit!!
Lucy and Tom are amazing hosts as well!
A fantastic place! Can't wait to hopefully go back again!!
Absolutely incredible accommodation in a beautiful and picturesque village. Completely equipped with everything I needed and a lot more. Roomy, comfortable, has all the amenities needed even for a long stay, sparkling clean, and directly adjacent to a country pub. It exceeded all my expectations. The host was so nice and I really enjoyed my brief conversations with her.
Cosy pub nice atmosphere. Staff friendly and food was extremely tastie. Room was small but very comfortable.
Staff very attentive making sure we were happy especially landlord Mark was nice to have more of a personal touch than big hotel.
Breakfast was nice lovely bacon sandwiches.
Place not far from Stratford.
It is a lovely hotel maintaining lots of its original features. The staff and owners were excellent making sure everything was fine for you. The Quiz night was good fun and apparently the have an Aunt Sally shy. The food was. delicious
I stayed in Yurt Yasmin, a wonderfully cosy little yurt on the far edge of the site. It was quiet and peaceful but I could easily drive around to do tourist things- in fact Shipston on Stour was half an hour away by bike.
It was a central location for exploring Shipston on Stour and surrounding area; we only stayed the one night, but enjoyed our stay, along with the cooked breakfast. The room was comfortable and quiet as we had requested
