The location was perfect, if you don't mind walking up a very steep hill, which we didn't because the view was incredible. It's the ideal space for anyone who wants to be out exploring but have a little base to get changed and to sleep.

Looe is the sort of place you would go to get away from the everyday of city life I moved from Devon to Bristol a few years ago and wanted somewhere quiet and this was absolutely it, it felt like another world! Despite the rain we went on loads of walks perfect for the dog there is a lot of hidden gems and loads of history to be found. Personally it was perfect for two of us plus a Labrador, maybe less so for children unless you’re willing to travel further afield for day trips! Definitely recommend Kelly’s fish and chips.

Beautiful Looe!
Beautiful Looe! Weather was wild and a challenge with big gusts of wind and heavy rain. Restaurants closed relatively early especially when travelled from far and arriving later than 8pm. Locals very friendly. Bit disappointed with the quality of fish food in 2 restaurants.

It has lovely shops and many places to eat, a lovely place to visit.
But can be very busy so plan ahead for food and parking, like booking up if want to go to a particular restaurant! Please make sure you book even before arriving if going in a busy time of year, parking just go straight to main large car park as will waste time trying to get into small ones by harbour unless mid winter as very busy.

Looe is a great place with plenty of pubs, restaurants and essential shops. It felt a safe place to walk around in at night, and we encountered no large groups of stag parties etc such as would be found in Newquay. Parking is a bit of a pain and expensive, so we left the car parked up most of the time and used the local train and bus services which are quite frequent and convenient. There are plenty of walks both country and seashore. Large supermarkets are in Liskeard about 20 minutes drive away, but smaller stores such as the Co-op are in Looe. Recommended.

Looe is a beautiful port with plenty of public parking, accommodation and food stops. Sea Kitchen and The Old Sail Loft are two superb restaurants. Just along the coast is Polperro which is an unspoilt harbour and a must see!
Everything.
Without a doubt one of the best B&Bs we have stayed in. Ben and Julie are excellent hosts. On arrival we were offered tea and cake, very welcome after a 3hr drive.
We had room 3 this time, what a fabulous room. Overlooking the harbour, glass of wine watching the world go by.
Excellent location with parking. If we are travelling to Looe we arrange our trip around vacancies here.
If you are travelling to Looe try here first. Did I mention breakfast, what a breakfast, well done Ben and Julie.
A lovely home from home b&b. Very welcoming and comfortable. Everywhere was spotless and Covid safe. Shirley our host knows a lot about the area and was really helpful regarding parking and buses to get around if needed. We only stayed for a long weekend but could have happily stayed much longer. Breakfast was tasty and filling and there was plenty of tea and coffee etc in the bedroom. We will definitely stay there again the next time we visit Cornwall.
Hotel staff really friendly and went out there way to assist. It’s great they allow dogs as took my pooch. The views are amazing as hotel is based on the cliff side and it’s a nice small walk down with some steps to walk along the harbour into looe. Lovely location and would definitely use again as they did cheaper single rooms for people who don’t want to spend too much. They also kindly gave me a double instead of a single as plenty spare
The Caravan was compact but it had everything we needed. We were advised before hand of what was included and what we needed to bring, so everything worked out good. We were only in the caravan at night as we were driving around most of the day, and it was a great base to visit Cornwall.
Apartment was self catering and location was exceptional as all facility's required where all within a very small walking distance, including beach, river, shops and restaurants.
A well worth visit in our opinion was a boat trip over to Looe island with the wild life and history.
We had a lovely stay in the quaint coastal town of Looe at the Prospect house. Prospect house was conveniently central and nicely appointed and clean. We were able to do laundry. We stayed in the lower unit which was great for the two of use. It was a wonderful stay.
We just stayed one night whilst on a cycle tour around Cornwall and Devon. Great location and a comfortable and well equipped little cottage with everything we needed for a relaxing stay. Very friendly host and nice breakfast in the nearby guest house. Recommended.
Great location for Looe, lovely hotel. Room was quiet with lovely views. Good choice at breakfast. Owner was very welcoming! Free parking was a bonus and even the smallest of things like USB wall sockets in the room were a help, when forgetting my phone charger.
David is a very helpful, friendly, easygoing person.
It was our first staying in Cornwall/ Looe and he supported us very much. It is very neat and clean there.
Thank you so much for sorting out our next staying.

Warm, bright, comfy accommodation. Thoughtfully furnished and sparklingly clean. Micro, fridge, kettle, toaster. Great bed. Beautiful, quiet location. Exactly what I hoped for. Would love to stay again on next trip to Cornwall.
The cottage was fully equipped for a self-catering stay. Coffee/tea, milk and even scones & jam and clotted cream awaited us on arrival. Very thoughtful hosts. A super base for visiting Cornwall.
Great location, room had spectacular views of East Looe and the beach.
Lovely modern hotel ,hosts were very welcoming.Plenty of choice for breakfast which was freshly cooked and tasty.
