Very close to Granville Island and the aquabus
Breakfast was expensive, outside was loud (we were at the back of the building overlooking some alley/delivery area), the rooms were a bit dingy - cracking paint, scuff marks. Could do with a re-vamp
Rooms are gross smelling unbearable
There was no mini fridge in the room
I called the front desk and they did not help me and wanted to end the call ASAP. So annoying
Front desk was very helpful and let us check in way ahead of time. Our luggage was safely stored while our rooms got organised.
Location was handy
Close to main roads so quite noisy at night
Location was handy to the hop on hop off bus. Staff were friendly enough. Bed was comfortable enough. Had in room wi-fi
Very noisy. Our room only had street noise, but our friends room also had some sort of airconditioning vent outside their room. They were miserable and couldn't wait for their 3 nights to be up. I felt the place was a bit dark and dingy for the price, but I understand Vancouver is expensive, so perhaps it is worth this much. We wouldn't stay again, we'd look outside of Vancouver if this is the quality we can afford in the city.
The price and location were great.
The service in the restaurant was very slow. No guide on the TV.
We were charged $260.00 for a night. I understand price increases as accommodation fill up, however, that was gouging. Will never stay there again and we frequent Vancouver.
Lobby was nice
Ice machine didnt work, duct tape togeyher. Halls smelt musky and old. Room was small, old decor. Hair on toilete, sink, and bed. Shower tile mold, and along bottom of bathtub bassin. Bathtub was well used and in need of replacement. Lamps plugged into extension cord that sparked and made sizzeling sounds. No fridge. This was a poor room for $200, not impressed and will not recommend.
I went expecting the quality to be less than average. Especially with the name Quality hotel. To my suprise the location was nice and close to Stanley Park. The staff were exceptionally friendly, even the maid said hi as we passed by. My car was nice and safe in a secured underground parking. I was more than happy with the choice of hotel.
Room service closed at 8pm, not very convenient.
The bed was very comfortable. There was a fridge in each room. There was a smoking area outside the main entrance, with a seat. The trolley bus stop was very handy. The staff were mostly helpful and friendly.
We booked a family suite thinking it would do for my partner, his brother and myself, but there was no door between the 'bedroom' and living area (where the sofa bed was), so we ended up having to take a second room. The manager said he was giving us a special price on the second room, but for the same money we could have stayed in a much more luxurious and central hotel. The lobby area was fine, but on our floor there was a strange smell in the corridor, everything felt grubby and the decor was horrible. Our 'balcony' was actually closed in with glass, so the room was stuffy, and the air con unit was so noisy that we had to turn it off.
Noisey in the early am
I like the staff, very attentive. The location is awesome, close to everything
I could hear the street noise on my room at the 4th floor, I can only imagine how the guest at the 2nd floor felt.
Location was great could walk anywhere or take the water bus
Food_ so so. Breakfast juice was not real but some sort of drink. Salmon overlooked and sauce very overpowering. In other words food-so so
location and front desk guy
noice from the road and from renovation on the other sied
Was upgraded to a suite. Very comfortable
The wifi was intermittent in the room. Better connection in the lobby.
Food and staff at restaurant were very good for reasonable price. Fluffy soft pillows extra bedding available excellent downtown location close to attractions and great bus service
One front desk staff very abrupt and rude noisey street facing rooms
Clean and comfortable. Majority of staff were extremely knowledgeable and very helpful, particularly Steve and Al. Swimming Pool - although bit cold at 8.30 in morning. Excellent breakfast with great choices. The complimentary bottles of water that were refreshed daily. Good location with easy access buses, Granville Island and the harbour area.
Very noisy at night - I stayed on 3rd floor of both sides of the hotel and you get noise from either a generator or the road depending on which side of the hotel you are on. The ice machine on 3rd floor was permanently out of order. The décor is very dated could do with a revamp.
Location was excellent, and staff were great too.
All of the extras on the price (parking, extra for a child's bed) left a bad taste in my mouth
Staff very helpful
Slow wifi, breakfast not included
Perfect location Downtown Vancouver. Friendly staff. Good price. Nice breakfast.
The hotel was in an excellent location for exploring downtown Vancouver. We had breakfast one morning and there was a good selection on the menu and the food was good.
At times the wifi was not the best. The hallways to the bedrooms could do with an upgrade , was a little dated and old fashioned.
For the price of the room, I expected a much less comfortable and modern hotel. You have got to check out the bar and restaurant, food is amazing and the bartender Jim is a treasure! I consider myself a hotel bar expert, and this one was my favourite yet, too bad about the early closing time though.
The pool was outdoors, not heated... Felt like swimming in the North Atlantic! The restaurant and bar hours were very short and somewhat inconvenient.
