the location was a bit out of our way.
the location was a bit out of our way. As there wasn't any quick available taxi around we walke for miles to get there from our Cotswald trail. The hotel staff wasn't too helpful solving the issue. Beautiful pub garden and setting, with good food and helpful staff. You could sit in the pub garden and have a lovely evening, but the area is like a Richard Curtis film. Lovely friendly welcome and we were shown to our room which was upstairs (not expected). Bedroom characterful with ball and claw foot Bath (no separate shower). Lovely fluffy towels and nice toiletries but no bathrobes. Mixed experience of main courses in restaurant but dessert was outstanding. This was our wedding anniversary break.
This was our wedding anniversary break. The campsite was peaceful and relaxing. The breakfast hamper was very nice. It was nice to have the pub on site, we ate there both nights. The showers were very temperamental. Overall a very enjoyable 2 night break.Guest review byDebbieUnited Kingdom
