Edinburgh has to a large extent retained its original buildings, small shop businesses, and architrecture. You can feel their proud history and impact on the British Empire. Safe, secure, and clean, but watch out for some really steep walking! The Castle area is wonderful, and the Castle the centre piece of this great City. A must visit is the Edinburgh Tattoo!
