Room was spacious and bed very comfortable but did not like having to go ino basement as I am 86 years old. Also did not like having to agree to take 60 pounds out of my account in case I used something or anything got damaged. The 60 is still out of my account for something I didn't get. I would agree that my card could be my marked and then if I used anything or damaged anything then charge m. So at the moment there is 60pounds taken from my account and not put back in. I have used The Marriott many many times but I will have to think twice before staying there in the future because of these grievances 😴

Breakfast was very good and not expensive. There were cold items, juices, toast, fresh fruits, croissants, coffee and tea on the buffet plus a good quality hot, plated meal made to order. Both full English and vegetarian full breakfasts were pleasing. The room was a decent size with a good thermostatic shower in the en-suite, with just a small step into the shower..

    The apartment was only 15min walk to Lakeside Shopping Center with lots of restaurants. The apartment was nicely decorated and had everything I needed for 1 night stay including free parking. I got in touch with the host and she always replied straight away and was very helpul. I would book it again!
