Location was great with a nice walk along Stokes Bay within 2-3 blocks. Breakfast was good, with a traditional English breakfast. Other lighter options are available, all included with the room. Gets a little busy at 7:30-8 for business travelers. Other times are fine. We ended up staying in two different rooms. The larger room with kitchenette and king bed was significantly better. Stayed during the 80th remembrance of D-day where 80 years ago thousands of troops set off. Gosport is about an 8 minute drive and add an 8-minute ferry ride to Portsmouth Gunwharf. Both great destinations for food and shopping.
In the center of Gosport, this hotel offers free Wi-Fi and free parking. Set just 0.5 miles from the bustling harbor front, there are restaurants within a few hundred yards.
Just a 5-minute walk from the beach, Leeward House B&B features bright rooms. Full English breakfasts are served, and Lee-on-the-Solent’s town center is a 5-minute walk away.

A convenient location offering a choice of room styles. Very well organized and the staff were exceptional. Breakfast was delicious with fresh fruit salad and lots of sides in addition to the cooked breakfast. The breakfast room is available in the evenings if you want to bring in something to microwave or a takeaway. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again. My fellow guests included regulars that were there on business as well as pleasure.

Communication was excellent, and there was lots of helpful information available for the property. There's a garage close by for supplies and an M&S Food a short distance away. We slept very well.

Perfect location, lovely hotel, staff really friendly and so helpful
Gosport is pleasant. The area around Spring Garden Lane Apartments has some lovely houses, a beautifully converted rail station, green open areas.
We ate at The New Benghal Indian restaurant. We also lunched at The Gosport Cafe. Both were very good.
The apartment was within walking distance of the Gosport passenger ferry which takes you Portsmouth harbour.

The fun fare, archades, Fish n chips, nice ice cream shop on Lea in Solent and one stop shop near the Old Lodge hotel - excellent.
The toilets on the Lee on Solent need attention - for hand-washing, water was not working and there was no soap.

Great walk along sea front, lovely view over to the Isle of Wight. Watching the Sailing boats was very relaxing. Gosport town doesn’t have much to offer, but a ferry across to Gunwharf Keys, is a great idea.
The Alverbank Hotel is a spot with luxurious huge chambers in an quiet park, just a few minutes from the sea with a pebble beach. The view from the chamber was very nice, the sea framed with trees. The staff was very vriendly. Besides the weekend the restaurant is closed but there are plenty of options within reach. From Gosport a small ferry crosses to Portsmouth.
Location is lovely , views of the Marina and sea from all windows , twenty min walk to gosport ferry , few decent bars in walking distance , looks like it’s being all done Up by the Marina so once it is and they are full it will be amazing to eat and drink there , right next to the water taxi for the historic dock yard and all museums etc , comfy beds
The owner of this property is lovely. She made us feel really comfortable and even got some toys out for my boys (age 1 and 2). Large variety of cereals and cold breakfast options. Great location, few supermarkets within a 10 minute walk and the Gosport ferry port was also within walking distance.
The quick witted hostess made us feel relaxed from the very beginning. Good breakfast, nice guarden , quiet surroundings and still close to a village with a shop an a chinese restaurant. Also the Solent Shore is within walking distanse and the Gosport Golf Club ( or 3 min drive if you prefer).
Receptionist was very friendly and helpful. I was in the hotel bar area for an event in the afternoon, and this again was well done with friendly staff. Breakfast was fine and didn't feel mass-produced - nice breakfast menu (though all I wanted was toast and cereal... :-) )
We spent a few days in each of the apartments whilst in Gosport visiting family. Both were absolutely perfect in terms of comfort, facilities and location. Heather is very helpful and a lovely host. Will certainly recommend and use again as our 'home from home'!
It's a lovely little house on the main road, there was parking available, shops nearby and it's only a short drive to the beach or to Gosport ferry. The house was clean, comfortable and cosy. I really felt secure with the electronic door key.
Our stay at Spring Garden was fantastic, really lovely apartment. With everything you could need for a relaxing break.
Was a pleasure to meet Heather lovely lady with great stories to tell about the building and surrounding area.
Great quiet location, lovely walks by the Solent or through the woods from the hotel grounds. Nice sea view garden to eat/sit in. Cute historic building. The Continental breakfast was croissants, yogurt, fruit and toast.
It was a great welcome by Kirsty. The location was excellent, and the hotel was easy to find. There was off road parking for a number of cars, if the hotel had been full, then road parking would have been needed.
Very nice historic pub and hotel, good location not far from an excellent coastal park, great pub with excellent attentive staff, large comfortable room, very good bed, very good shower.
The breakfast and location were perfect. The hosts were lovely and I really enjoyed my stay there. Would recommend to anyone looking for a cozy, simple stay in Gosport.
Friendly efficient staff. Excellent breakfast.
Hotel ideally situated for anyone walking the coastal path and needing accommodation between Gosport and Fareham.
