Staff was very friendly but don’t expect everyone to speak English. They would try to help you with that ever you ask them. Breakfast was nice but because they couldn’t understand English I never go to understand when they started and ended the breakfast.
Location was nice as well.

Wonderful atmospheric largely medieval and early Renaissance City - very compact and walkable. Less than 45 minutes from Florence by train but with less than 1 % of the tourist numbers. Surrounded by wonderful countryside. Beautiful in itself as well as being an ideal touring base at a fraction of the price or congestion of Florence. Very easy to get around on foot and with a very good selection of restaurants in the historic center serving excellent Tuscan cuisine

Having stayed in the hustle and bustle of Pisa and Florence previously, I loved the more laid back feel here.
Plenty of cafes, restaurants, little shops, beautiful architecture all within walking distance and not overly crowded.
The little squares had live music and the local families came out together to eat on Sunday. There was even a local wine tasting tour around the squares - you purchased a glass (refundable, or keep as a souvenir) and then 'tickets' to try the different wines at each trattoria that was participating - some 20+ - needless to say, a little tiddled by the afternoon!
The market (on Wednesday and Saturday) was lovely and there were no street traders bothering you with their fake watches and leather goods that were everywhere in the bigger cities.
Pistoia was the best part of our Italian tour!

While it is a typical Italian Toscana town, it has a lot of space for improvements. Amazing floral sites and offers but otherwise the streets and buildings feel neglected except of around the few main attractions. But that's quite common even in Florence or Pisa. Obviously not a lot of need to do more when your sites are full of tourists anyway. :)

Small but beautiful, with a friendly, bustling feel.
Small but beautiful, with a friendly, bustling feel. Close to Florence, Lucca and Pisa (all on the same branchline by train). Stunning architecture, but quieter and less crowded than Florence. A hidden gem! I believe it is well known for its garden centres - I saw some of them from the train. And someone told me thare is a train museum there, but I can't confirm that
Location for what I needed to do was perfect. Pistoia which is really cute is easily reached, from there to go to Florence or to Lucca and Pisa is also very easy. The owner Salvatore is a fantastic host, will offer you a nice Espresso in the garden any time. Place is kept nicely, the garden is nice and full of amenities to lay or sit around the pool or make a nice BBQ. The rooms are spacious and apartments are clean and fully functional. Kitchen and bathroom are new. There is a big food market 5 Min drive to get groceries.
An elegant hotel in a great location in old Pistoia. The staff are delightful. The breakfast was plentiful, as were the cappuccinos and teas and cookies available throughout the day. Everything was great and totally recommend. In the old centre we were close to so many great restaurants and enjoyed fantastic meals. We also were
15 minutes walk to the train station so we could easily get anywhere we wanted in Tuscany, including to Montecatini Terme for a bike trip and wine tasting. Love!
Authentic and carefully restored Italian property with close attention to detail for guests staying here. Cristina communicated well and told us where to park . All areas of Pistoia are within walking distance from the B&B .
She gave us great recommendations on where to eat and places to visit . Tea, coffee milk and fruit juice were all readily available in the shared area.
This may have been the best place I have every been - and I have been in many places, including high-end hotels. You have the feeling that you are the dearest guest of a lovely family member :) Antonella puts her heart and soul into every little detail: your little private garden, your amazing apartment, with all the details. The breakfast experience is simply amazing..
The apartment was lovely, bright open windows, 6 radiators, (in the cold, in Italy, this matters!), and immaculate. Wonderful location, great close by parking, and truly, an amazing staff, from check in, to all things involved, thank you so much Manuela, what a great host! Truly, one of the nicest places I have ever stayed.
Superb beds, silent big room, perfect airco. Splendid location, and perfect to have a good stay and rest in the cosy but amusing Pistoia. Located in ZTL (low traffic zone), but that's no problem for hotel guests! The instructions upfront and help from the staff upon arrival are clear, so that it's definitely no issue at all.
We really liked this hotel, it's location, building, food, pool, breakfast, everything was lovely. Room bit on the small size for a comfort room. Pool area is also open for non-hotelguests but got reserved beds for hotelguests.
If i would come back in Pistoia i would stay here again, for sure.
Hospitality and service excellent. The rooms were clean, spacious and comfortable with all modern amenities. The location was perfect for a stay in Pistoia and I would recommend this place for a base to see the many beautiful sites in Toscana
Breakfast as good as I have ever had in hundreds of hotels
Archictecture .Hotel is first floor of what was home of richest family in City for 14 generations
It was a parador at price of travelodge
Staff very friendly and helpfulCannot
In the very historical center of the town, this is an old and elegant hotel with all the modern facilities you may need. Excellent breakfast and staff. A great option for visiting Pistoia, a place definitely worth a visit.
The apartment is in a charming neighborhood and is well-equipped and comfortable. Monica was friendly and accommodating. Central location, easy walk to the train station. I will be back if I am in Pistoia again.
Very good location, right next to night life of Pistoia (which didn't seem to be clubbing, but rather people having fun on the street).
It's also 10 minutes walk from the train station, which is not too bad.
We loved the location in the heart of Pistoia near the Duomo and the sala! Lively area with restaurants and shops. we loved the restaurant attached to the hotel Bono Dinulla!
A very clean hotel room, perfect in the center of Pistoia, great staff. I would recommend, the room was extremely well soundproofed towards the center.
