The place for surfing, sun and beach life. Several kilometers of gorgeous sandy beaches and nice waves, suitable also for the beginning surfers. All the necessary services are available. This is defintely a beach town.
This is defintely a beach town. I was there in the "off season", although my visit spanned New Year's Eve and there were a lot of day-trippers. Not sure I'd enjoy the place as much as I did during peak season. I was lucky to find on-street parking close to my hostel. I would not recommend having a car here in the summer. The view from the fifteenth floor over Costa da Caparica and Lisbon in the distance is breath-taking. The host was always available on WhatsApp if needed. We were met on time by one of his co-workers. She was very pleasant and informative. The beaches are a two-minute walk away and there are lots of shops and restaurants on the way.
