The location has always been the reason we chose this place - it's near 2 MRT lines. Plus, it also has optional soft pillows for those who can't take the firm ones they have. The rooms are also pretty well soundproofed from neighbours. The lift situation has improved since the last time we were here. It's one of a few chain hotels that don't have constant (noisy) tour group bookings.

The property is located near major tourist attractions. Very convenient to get around. The room is clean, quiet (on the 10th floor) and large by Singapore's standard (18sqM). The fire station opposite to the property made siren noises at night but not frequently and was not bothersome. The room has no refrigerator but there is a community refrigerator on every floor with free hot and cold water. Good value for money.

FAQs about hotels in Singapore

Asia in a Compact Package

Clean, compact and compelling, Singapore seamlessly combines the best of Asia. Different cultures and cuisines live side by side, while maintaining their own identity.

Behind the bright lights of Chinatown is cheap and delicious dim sum, while Little India is a sensation for the senses. Wander past the pastel-painted facades of Malay-dominated Geylang Seari for a taste of days gone by, then stop off at the Colonial-style Raffles Hotel, birthplace of the Singapore Sling cocktail.

For a retreat from the hustle and bustle, take the cable car to the sandy beaches of Sentosa, an island just south of the city center. Also here is Universal Studios Singapore, a theme park brimming with the magic of the movies.

As you’d expect from the host of the world’s only Formula 1 night race, once night falls, Singapore is still very much alive. Its Night Safari is a zoo providing the rare chance to see nocturnal animals going about their business.

Although small enough to see on foot, Singapore has an efficient public transport system which extends as far as Singapore Changi Airport. With a choice of Singapore accommodations ranging from budget hostels to luxury hotels, Booking.com is bound to have the right choice for your holiday.

I loved the friendly Singaporeans, the high level of safety everywhere, and the amazing street food (especially from, Maxwell, the hawkers market in Chinatown). I enjoyed visiting the Buddhist Tooth Relic Museum, the Hop-on-Hop-off Bus Tour, The Flyer, TWG for afternoon tea, and most of all the World Aquatics Masters Championships. The swimming facilities at OCBC are excellent!

A beautiful city, with a diverse cosmopolitan culture , lively and thriving every moment. From the high end life of Raffles and Marina Bay Sands, to the humble dumplings of Din Tai phoon or Lao pasat markets, you get to meet people in every walk of life. An extremely well planned city where every age group has got something to look forward to. Singapore is a continuous wonder of creativity.

We've been before so didn't do all the main attractions this time. Clarke Quay, the Boat Quay and Chinatown is where we spent most of our time. Jet lag (we flew in from London) got to us a bit so we spent a lot of time sleeping. Where we stayed was handy for everything we wanted. We love the Orange Juice dispensers spread around the city, we love the food and we love the ambience! It was a bit hot for us so we'll be careful when we visit next time but there will be a next time if we have any say....

This is a great hotel. Although it may not have all the facilities of some of the bigger hotels in Singapore, it ticked all the boxes for us. The room was spacious, clean and very comfrotable and the staff were particularly helpful. Furthermore the hotel is located in an intersting part of Singapore, a bit away from the more toursity areas but still within easy access to transport and great local neighbourhood restaurants. Excellent Wi-Fi.

Booking.com gave me a good deal where a free upgrade was included. After that the Hotel gave me the option to further upgrade the room at a nominal charge. That made all the difference. Good sized room with all the amenities. Comfortable bed. Personalised check-in and check-out unlike several business hotels in Singapore where you have to do everything yourself.
