The hotel was amazing. Best place I have ever stayed at in nyc, and I have been going there off and on for 40 years. Seemed brand new with excellent, nice sized, well appointed rooms!! The staff was friendly and helpful. Will be our hotel of choice for future visits to nyc. It is a great place to rest and operate from, but note that there is nothing to do in the neighborhood. The subway system is a reasonable walk away-- about 5 short blocks, but are not handicap accessible and require a couple of levels of stairs. But the metro puts you mere minutes from the center of action in NYC---Times Square, Broadway and off-broadway theatre, etc. We hihgly recommend as your best choice for economical stay in nyc. John and Paulette, May 10-13, 2011 No complaints. It even had free computer access and free wireless access.

Hotel is very close to subway with easy travel to the city. Breakfast area is very small. For the lower prices there are plenty hotels around with more attractive rooms.

It was clean and comfortable. Very close to subway and to Manhattan. Only 2 stops and you are in the City ! Staff was kind, I mean most of them were kind. Breakfast area is really so small. They should either change the hall or make the hours longer to solve this problem. People stand and try to it and it makes you feel stupid really.

It's a great hotel with really helpfull and polite staff. Breakfast in simple, but really good. It's true there are not enough tables in the eating area, but it's no problem to take your breakfast to the room and watch tv at the same time. Overall we enjoyed our stay at this hotel a lot and I would definitely stay in this hotel again if I come back to NYC.

The big comfortable beds. The Hotel breakfast area is so small first i stayed the room 107 some amenities working like a free wifi....etc etc than they changed the room 2days later which I mentioned in my reservation 3months before!!!! The breakfast was awfull-hopeless only some fatty donuts-cream cheese-bread.There was a 3 table and all the hotel breakfast area is that!!! The area of the hotel is scary at night times. The homeless-black-young street groups....etc etc just asked offered you so many illegal things.Hope someone waste a time&report these streets to the NYPD-police.Please for your safety don't use the metro to explore the city nights after 11pm. Wish some of your manager reads&mean my writing than people trust the ramada name&brand.

Travel Experience of annually visiting NYC for 7 years already: - The Rooms are very descent and proper for the Rate in combination with the location. - For the same price you have a closset instead of a decent room on Manhattan itself. But even if you would have stayed on Manhattan you would daily take the subway at the start of your day. Also the 3 different subway stations provide you with multiple convenient start- and end-pint Subway Line possibilities. - The Skyline view is certainly worth the while - Non-stop free coffee and thee downstairs - Coffee and thee mmachine in the room - The breakfast is basic, but OK for the price. Don't be late however, because that you'll miss the bagels and donuts. In addition note that they only have 4 tables, so you might have to wait for a bit. Alternatively you could grab a breakfast and eat it in your room.

The location is reasonably good,5 mins from 39ave subway, very quiet at night, the subway is above ground in this area so beware of hotels that are right next to subway for the noise factor. The area was a mix of residential and light industrial but friendly and non threatening, there a 2-3 deli's within a couple of blocks serving good quality food at reasonable rates. Manhattan is 10-15mins away and the skline can be seen from the Hotel over the 59th st. Bridge.all in all a good base for visiting new york without manhattan pricesThe staff were super efficient, but could smike a little more.would stay again.

Cheap, clean hotel conveniently located 2min away from metro line. Manhattan can be reached in two stops. Rooms are ok, clean and comfortable. Breakfast is poor, even if you get to breakfast 30 minutes before allowed time expiration you won't get almost anything. Space for breakfast is terribly small. 4 tables for a 10-floors hotel is indeed nonsense.

Great location. Manhattan views without the Manhattan price. 5 minute walk to subway station for 10 minute trip straight to Times Square. Local area quiet and safe.Nice walk across Queensborough bridge to Manhattan. Nearby shop hires bikes for easy rides around New York. Small breakfast room and standard breakfast. Had letter posted to hotel but not received. Hotel had no record of receiving important letter but sender certain letter was sent.

the location of the hotel is in industrial part of the city, but with a stunning view over manhattan and situated very close to manhattan. room was super clean and very comfortable. thanks the only problem with ramada hotel was, that it is kind of low key...you eat your breakfast literally at the reception with people walking in and out. but other than that, i would recommend. great value for money.
