Huge super king size bed on the top floor overlooking Upper East Side. Fantastic views. Very clean room and bathroom. Easy walking distance to subway stations. Great deli by 39th Avenue station. Helpful staff ordering a car to the airport. Breakfast was like being in a youth hostel. If you weren't there early enough then you missed out on the limited range of bagels and donuts. Only 3 tables and so wasn't very accommodating for all the guests.

The location is very nice and close to most of the city attractions. Also, it has a good value for money with clean rooms. The staff aren't that helpful or friendly. The hotel lobby is a disaster without a dedicated breakfast area. Sometimes, we had to take breakfast (which is very poor) while standing.

Bed was comfortable and we had a great view of New York from our room. Reception staff, although clearly unused to the practise of smiling at customers, were extremely helpful. I needed something printed off and the guy there helped me print it for free. Some people mentioned the area was sketchy but I didn't feel unsafe one bit. It was about 5-6 blocks to the subway but still a shorter distance to what I have to walk every day in London. And felt safer too. Overall, for the price you could do worse than stay here. This place could be a brilliant value hotel if they just invested in a new heater system for the rooms. Unbelievably loud, and turning it off for just 10 mins turned the room freezing cold. Luckily I sleep with silicone earplugs so it blocks out everything. If you stay here, you need these. Doors slam shut super loud, so if (as with us) there's a group of guests staying in multiple rooms on your floor, drinking between rooms before going out the doors slamming every few minutes will literally drive you insane! The free breakfast was super cheap. Bagels, doughnuts & bananas were ok, but the cheap cereal & fake sugar was pretty bad. Also only 3 tables for a hotel of this size?? If you book here expecting a normal Ramada you might be in for a shock. It's definitely a budget hotel, but with comfortable beds.

Pretty cheap for New York, and close to the metro station. I would go back if I did not find anything better, but I would look first (which tells you something). No personality, ridicolous breakfast, with 3 tables for probably 50 rooms.

Great location at budget price. Some rooms also have a great view of Manhattan itself. The subway is only 3 blocks away with 3 routes into NYC. Can't comment on breakfast as always ate out, but all in all a good budget hotel, with good sized comfortable rooms for a great price!! If you want to eat breakfast at the hotel it doesn't look great, although we ate out. Few problems with cleanliness of room. Double glazing is pretty thin, and on the second half of our trip the wind picked up and was howling through the windows. Finally, security of baggage once checked out is an issue as its in the lobby (not secure) although there is someone at reception at all times. Solution is to take a hard case with combination lock giving you security in your room and on check out.

Breakfast to go (because there are only few tables) The worst thing was the bad insulation of the rooms. You could hear every sound from the street or staircase. The hotel is located in an industrial area, so it got very loud early in the morning. Plus: you could hear every talk and sound from your neighbours. That made it hard to sleep! The doors are not tight at all. Our room was smelling badly because someone was smoking nextdoor. The rooms were very small and there was only one tiny locker. We had almost no space to move in our room, because we could not unpack our baggaege. We did not have a safe to secure our belongings. We will not come again and would not recommend this place, although we do not have high requirements.

Location is perfect, many subways around, very nice huge bed with lots of pillows, sooooo comfy. Where would I start??? Ok, here we go... Staff are very unhelpful, you ask for water they tell u get it urself, u ask for help on anything and it is as if u owe them money. Cleaning the room was sooooo poor, they only made the bed and in a very bad way, they wouldnt even put our shoes aside, no new shampoo or soap. Breakfast is soooo poor, just cheese and bread and banans....and they r always short in bananas :))) Very cheap people, very cheap staff and a very cheap style of management... Room ac was falling to pieces, litteraly, the cover was coming off... Not Ramada at all, they should reconsider giving the name to such a hotel.

Friendly, helpful staff. Location is not ideal, but for the money is ok - subway is close, you can also have an 1 hour long walk along the bridge. Breakfast is quite mediocre, breakfast place is very small and open to winds. Room is a bit compact - mostly 2 beds and not very much other space.

Anyone who has been to New York will know that the price of hotels in Manhattan can be rather high especially in December just before the holidays when everyone tenders to hit the city for shopping. Having been to NYC over 8 times now, I thought the Ramada was a good location, about 10 minutes walk to Queensborough Plaza subway station and from there it is a 10 minute train ride to 5th Avenue/Central Park. I was travelling with my dad and my older brother. We booked this room which was advertised for 4 people. With 3 of us in the room is was beyond cramped! God knows how you fit another body in the room! Plus with all the shopping, etc it would be just ok for 2 people sharing. We had a room with a city view, which I must admit was great opening the curtains and seeing the Manhattan skyline in the morning, something which you will not have if you stay in Manhattan. The breakfast was very basic, some doughnuts, bagels and cereals but the coffee machine is free all day so I enjoyed that whilst smoking in the cold on the street to keep me warm. To be honest, I love a full American breakfast with pancakes or french toast at a local diner so I was personally not bothered by the lack of breakfast facilities. There is no secure baggage room to leave your things when checking out. Check out is at 11am and we did not have to leave for the airport until 5pm. So we had no choice but to leave our things there in reception. Admittingly everything was there on our return but it is too easy to just take someone else's things.
