Marivaux Hotel, hotel in Brussels

Set in the heart of Brussels, Marivaux Hotel offers guest rooms opposite the City2 Shopping Mall, a 12-minute walk from Brussels' Grand Place and 1804 feet from De Brouckère Metro Station.

The hotel is fancy, inside design very nice with the cinema references and is quite easy to move around by foot or order an uber to go to everywhere in Brussels. Coming back is likewise, with some attention to the street dynamic. Service is very gentle and breakfast with an interesting variety, for a good day start.

FAQs about hotels in Brussels

Chocolate Capital of Europe

Brussels is well-known as the headquarters of many European institutions and is often called the capital of Europe. However, Belgian waffles, beer and chocolate are just a few of the city’s best-known delicacies that can rival its political reputation.

French and Dutch are the city’s two official languages, so all streets and landmarks have two different names: don’t be surprised when you look for Grand Place and end up at Grote Markt!

Don’t miss the famous bronze, aptly named Manneken Pis statue or the futuristic Atomium, a truly unique architectural creation. Wandering through side streets to discover small bookshops, romantic cafés and ethnic restaurants reveals Brussels's charm.

Brussels is a real melting pot of Europe, filled with great museums and art from Memling, Bosch or Rubens, historic breweries and great concert halls. Shopping addicts can visit the world’s first shopping mall, the Saint Hubert Gallery, opened here in 1847.

If you’re arriving at Brussels Airport or South Charleroi Airport, all major attractions are just a short train or bus ride away. Whether you’re looking for a design hotel, a comfortable apartment or a friendly B&B, Booking.com has something perfect for your trip to Brussels.

We did a free walk with a Legend that was great and got considerable insight Ito the history of Brussels and the places we could go to find out more eg Museums. The central market is amazing and there is a really good vibe in the city as people enjoy the beauty and the food . There are a variety of restaurants and opportunities to sit outside and enjoy the activity . Cars are limited in the best tourist areas and it is safe to walk around and take in the architecture and food options.Chez Leon was an excellent restaurant but also I the area of St Catherine's church there were cheaper options .

Brussels has a lot to offer in terms of history, music art and culture. We enjoyed one of the best meals we have ever had at restaurant Ottanta but I don’t understand why the City Council thinks it’s ok to have garbage bags strewn around the city left on footpaths for days before they are collected. On civic pride I have to give Brussels one out of ten.

The location was amazing! Right in the center of everything and near the train station. The hotel is a block from the Grand Place and just a few blocks more from the famous "boy peeing" statue. Being so close to the train station made it so easy to explore Brussels and take day trips to other cities in Belgium. The room was fantastic as well! The room had a look of an old building with modern amenities. The bathroom was clean and spacious. The bed was so cozy and the room had air conditioning which isn't always a thing.

Location is perfect for me because it's a 30seconds walk to work. For people that travel for leisure, there are 2 metro stations very close by and it's also quite close to 2 train stations. It's feasible to walk to the city center too but the metro should do the trick for the less active ones. The staff and the hotel are very nice, it has all you need and even some food/snacks in the lobby. I'll definitely stay there again whenever I have to come back to Brussels.

Located in the old heart of brussels two minutes walk from the Grand Place. This is my usual hotel when I visit Brussels. The rooms are quite small, but well appointed and comfortable. The bathrooms have been recently upgraded - our shower would have rivalled a power hose when turned on full! The breakfast room on the 7th floor has an excellent view as well as an excellent breakfast, with an electric waffle maker, and the best bread ever!

Breakfast was delicious. Location is perfect, right in the middle of the city center to discover brussels by foot. Tucked away on a quiet square, the elegance of this hotel grew on me throughout my stay in Brussels, which is an oddly honky tonk city center despite majestic building facades.
