The room was spacious and very comfortable and we loved the privacy of our own little cabin. The staff were all super friendly and helpful. We rented a car in Belize City and drove the 90 minutes to the resort ourselves, as shuttles to the property are very expensive and once you arrive there isn’t anything within walking distance. You can take the bus into Belmopan, but the freedom of having our own car was wonderful. This is a great home base for cave tubing and other jungle adventures and for visiting Mayan ruins.

I loved the location, the vibe and the facilities. This is really a special place. It is really a jungle lodge. With the Blue Hole, a short walk, and the rooms being so well thought out, I am hoping to come back soon.

I have been living in Belize almost 18 years and I wish I had found this place earlier on our needed trips to Belmopan. It is conveniently located close to UB and just off of East Ring Road, just two blocks east of Brodies. There is a combi that passes in front of the place every 20 minutes and will carry you to the bus terminal for $2 BZD. There are shops and restaurants all around within walking distance. I rented a non a/c room and it was very comfortable and clean and breeze was fine with the windows open, even though it was a record-breaking heat day. This place has a communal kitchen. The service here is excellent. The on premise manager, Chris attended to any need that I had. The room itself has a mini kitchen in front with water, dishes/utensils, a mini fridge with a separate freezer, a toaster oven, and a 4 cup coffee maker. The bedroom area has a tv with internet connection, a lamp, lots of hanging space (hangars provided) and it was very clean and well lit with a full body mirror. I particularly liked the bathroom sink because it was big enough for me to hand wash my laundry each night. . This guest house is also fenced and very secure. I will definitely return and carry my sweet hubby with me next time because he will enjoy this place.

Stayed for 6 nights total: 2 in San Ignacio, 1 at Rainforest Inn on Butterfly Highway, and 3 at the beach in Hopkins. The Rainforest was awesome and we did some cave exploring on tours. My husband and I enjoyed the cave tube float and our friends loved the ATM cave. Of course there are a number of Mayan ruins to explore without having to cross into Guatemala. Belize is a small country but from the Cays to Belmopan city and beach areas the culture is varied. The Garifuna culture around Hopkins is quite interesting and different from San Ignacio, which is more Mayan.

The lodge is in the perfect place to do a variety of jungle adventure tours and activities, especially all the caves and sinkholes in the area, and to explore the Mayan ruins, and to get a real feel for the culture of Belize.

I specifically went to see the Thirsty Jagwar (yummy fruit wines) booth at the Day & Night Market at Mae Gordon Park in Belmopan. It was a rainy day and the grounds were a bit wet and muddy, but there was a good variety of friendly vendors, so it was fun to shop around. They also had a good DJ and live music so it was entertaining as well. There was also a good variety of food vendors to choose from. The highlight of my visit was my stay at the Kiki Witz Resort. It was only 5 minutes drive outside Belmopan. Easy to find right off the highway just past the ArtBox store, but GPS was off. I had the cutest little Glamping Cabin in the woods! I will definetly come back, stay there and do little excursions out from there.

Hard to find in belize a place like that as most of hotels have low standard, this resort is the only place i liked during my visit to belize, stuning area and surroundaing, near orange farm and the jungle, the bar next to river, the villa with pool plung and the villa with modern decoration, clean, room is cozy and window with good shade to sleep during daylight, food was good, i also went to visit the other resort they have hand made fresh pizza cocked on burn wood oven, try it.

The location in the rainforest ist wonderful and we especially enjoyed the free bicycles and the hiking trails on the hotel grounds. It's a great place for bird watching! We stayed at a Creekside Cottage which was beautiful, especially the patio and the outdoor bathbub are great. A great plus is that you are provided with free drinking water. Special thanks to the waiting staff at Don Tonito's, they were so nice and we felt very welcome there!
