Victoria is a very beautiful city, definitely worth visiting. The ocean, the parks, the unique stores, and especially the food options for us vegans are fantastic! However, I was deeply disturbed by their homeless/drug addicts problem, not so much for safety reasons but more for compassionate ones. I especially appreciated the free e-bike rental since the hotel’s location right on the Galloping Goose Trail. It is perfect for cycling enthusiasts — the trail stretches 55 km from Victoria to Sooke.
