The cottage was incredibly clean, cozy, and well-equipped — perfect for a family getaway. The beds were super comfortable, the living space was warm and inviting, and the location was peaceful yet close to everything we needed. The host provided thoughtful touches that made us feel right at home.

Gorgeous old style inn with adjacent pub. Thatched roof and lovely flowers outside and pleasant country style decor. The pub featured a large fireplace, beams and authentic decor. Dinner menu was excellent and breakfast was a varied selection of hot and cold. Staff were friendly and helpful. We’ve stayed at many pubs/inns but this one was exceptional!

The greeting was so kind and warm right as I arrived to the White Rabbit. The young man at the front desk was so welcoming, and offered to check me into my room even though I arrived a few hours early. I enjoyed a few meals at the restaurant downstairs. They are so considerate of food allergies. The sauvigon blanc and toastie was delish. The nearby park off Southampton and Beaulieu just off the main town drag was one of the most beautiful views and horses are everywhere. I also saw cows in the distance. It's a very picturesque place. If you want to go to any neighboring towns, I highly recommend getting a car bc even though Brockenhurst and other towns are a few short miles away, it's not walkable, and Ubers don't frequent that area much. Overall, an excellent stay!!!

    It was a really wunderfull place from which we could visit...

    It was a really wunderfull place from which we could visit all the spots at the amazing National Park New Forest. Hostess Linda was very kind, helpfull and she even took care of some breakfast for us. Next to the beautiful site it is very comfortable and complete. We certainly come back here! Don’t forget to visit Beaulieu, Lyndhurst and the beautiful Bucklers Hard. There is a nice pub and good food!

    Bartley is a good location for travelers wanting to explore the vast new forest. It allows you to start right from your place of stay and enjoy the landscape and plenty of animals/wildlife (deer, squirrels, horses).

    Loved this hotel! Couldn't fault anything! The staff were lovely, it's in a beautiful setting, it has a bar and a very good restaurant, breakfast was good and we had a great meal in the restaurant too. It's spacious, we had a deluxe room and it was large, clean, and very comfortable. Breakfast in the conservatory or restaurant looking out over the garden was very pleasant. I would definitely go here again. It's not far to Lyndhurst or Ashurst, and you are in the New Forest and can walk in it from the garden.

    Fantastic Hotel with lovely rooms, great food, fantastic outdoor space. Staff also great. Location is great for the New Forest and Beuleigh, however only a ten minute drive from M27 (and note no road noise)
