Contrasting with "upmarket" chain hotels I've stayed in recently it was great - the TV was an ACTUAL smart TV which was NOT the case in a Voco or a holiday Inn express. The breakfast was excellent and the restaurant belonging to the property serves first class cuisine and reasonably priced

Handy location for our stay en route down further south. Lovely small room does just the job, great quiet pub with a good selection of beers on tap. We ate dinner (curry night) and breakfast the next morning - both very tasty! Staff we're great with our dog, very accommodating.

It was a perfect place for some rnr whilst visiting friends in Somerset. A lovely old building that had once been a Mill. The grounds were lovely, a stream, lake daffodils and a peacock and peahen made it so very welcoming. The owner and I chatted a lot and I was made to feel extremely welcome. I slept well and comfortably. I only needed a light evening meal which they were happy to do and lovely cooked breakfast in the morning before heading off. I would recommend Hornsbury

Very conveniently situated for visiting the local area and proximity to M5. Staff were superb, always kind and courteous. Breakfasts were a real bonus. Delicious! Of particular note was the luxurious towels. Made us feel like we were bathing in luxury.
