Friendly welcome, lovely large room, very clean and comfortable, very peaceful, garden view. Lots of nice touches including dual usb charger, hot chocolate and biscuits. Very convenient location with a pleasant pub restaurant in easy walking distance. Off-road parking provided. Excellent breakfast cooked to order.

The house is in a fairly quiet street around 5 minutes walk from the town's main street. When we arrived everything was ready for us and the house was well presented. There were lots of little touches such as a coffee machine with capsules, olive oil etc which were very welcoming. The rooms were dressed well and very appealing. We really liked the addition of a few Christmas ornaments for the season! The house was cosy and the instructions were very helpful. This was our first AirBnB type stay and it made a huge difference to have so much space to relax in. We found lots of nice restaurants nearby which catered to all tastes and had a particularly nice meal in the Oatsheaf. There are Sainsburys and Waitrose stores 5 minutes away as well as a variety of smaller local shops. There was good communication from the hosts prior to our visit and they were easy to contact whilst there when required. We really enjoyed our stay and would not hesitate to stay here again.

    local Gulshan Indian to be given a wide berth overpriced and didn't understand English too well. The local pub the Oatsheaf served Doom bar and had a lovely back garden well shaded but still sunny with helpful staff ,though no sandwiches or small meals on offer at weekends crisps only or a very large garlic pizzetta!!, Town appears to have its usual smattering of local shops and amenities.

    The town had a fantastic amount of cafes and eating places. Lots of different shops along the high street. Very attractive area with lots of woodlands areas/trees. Also the train station was within walking distance. Around the area are lots of different towns to it and a good number of hotels.

    Very poor hygiene, dirty and smoking stinky room as first, then the substitute one was as dirty. It was too late to find another hotel. We asked to be refund the morning after and went to another hotel. We have pictures of the dirty rooms and bathrooms.

    Staff welcoming and professional. Rooms are adequate. Shower & bath. Room carpet however was disgusting, covered in stains from drops of what looked like blood and bigger dirty stains . The services alongside have kfc etc food options late into the night.

    I was there visiting family so not really got lots to say. We have been to a couple of places around and they were all fine and the places we ate out in were all good. Plenty take-away places to choose from too so no cooking :)). Some really nice walks around too

    Large spacious room with sofa and writing desk. The hotel has alot of nice character features and is obviously popular as a wedding venue. The grounds are lovely and secluded and away from street noise or traffic. Parking outside was no problem but for a £5 charge. Fleet high Street and shops, bars and restaurants only 10 minute walk if you want to stock up.

    Lovely guest house within 5 minutes of Fleet high street and 10 minutes to Farnborough Air Show. Nigel, the owner, is very friendly and informative and keen to look after you. He also makes great bacon sandwiches! Easy off road parking.

    Covert Cottage is a beautiful, comfortable home from home. For us, it was the perfect base to stay for a wedding at the nearby Elvetham Hotel. Plenty of parking. Excellent communication from the hosts. Great!
