The room (Queen Deluxe) was very spacious, comfortable and spotless! There’s a small TV room as well, that was a pleasant surprise. Amazing shower, soft towels, nothing to complain really. Breakfast was delicious and the staff very friendly.

    Herne Nay has everything you could want or need for a seaside break. Lots of typically English seaside activities such as amusement arcades, crazy golf, children’s fairground rides and amusement on the beach as well as on the pier. Lots of places to eat and drink, we found also the prices in Wetherspoons very reasonable and family friendly.

    Having been to Margate, Ramsgate, Broadstairs etc

    Having been to Margate, Ramsgate, Broadstairs etc Herne bay just didn’t have the same impact on me unfortunately…. I went to a show on the Friday night and sitting down by the sea was lovely but not a fave of mine.

    Herne Bay in itself is a lovely place but it has become rundown, lot of shops are closed down . Pier is shut early evening , not enough nice places to eat , and considering this is summer season not much going on either , quite disappointed.

    Sadly Herne Bay was not the place for us.

    Sadly Herne Bay was not the place for us. In some places it looked very run down, and there was an awful smell in the air….almost like plastic. But the residents we met were very friendly and welcoming.

    Lovely walks to the town along the coastal path.

    Lovely walks to the town along the coastal path. Beautiful natural scenery. The town is a typical British seaside town. There are some gardens with colourful flower arrangements. The pier has lots of little stalls in beach huts selling gifts and food and there are fairground rides for the little ones. Pet friendly.

    Ideal for young families and retirees being not too busy. Nice restaurants and coffee shops, kids playground, good pubs and plenty of places to walk to along Kent Coastal Trail. Excellent Kings Hall for live bands.

    I liked the layout the place was perfect for just me and it would be perfect for a couple the location is right by the beach all the facilities are a short stroll away. It’s nice and peaceful plenty of parking in the street as my car was to large for the drive but a small car would fit the host was on hand if anything was to be needed thankfully I didn’t need anything I would say it was perfect for me and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a stay in herne bay

    This spacious apartment, just a few steps from the Herne Bay seafront, is truly the ideal home base for spending a few days exploring Kent. It includes two bedrooms, two separate bathrooms and a large living room with kitchen; moreover, it has a dedicated parking space. Despite being within walking distance of the town center, it is particularly quiet and guarantees a good night's sleep. A special mention for the nice and kind owner.

    Location and surrounding towns to visit (Herne Bay, Margate, Broadstairs, Whitstable, Rochester - all lovely places), privacy and security in own fenced/locked gated area of Lisa’s garden, large car parking space, comfort, value for money. The property suited our short stay (4 nights) needs and was well equipped with separate kitchen and patio. Lisa was very nice over the phone/quick to respond to messages.

    Beautiful room. Bright and clean and comfortable with a wonderful view over Herne Bay seafront. Lovely facilities, with toiletries, towels and a hairdryer all provided. Plus a welcome tray of coffee, tea, bottled water & hot chocolate and biscuits. Staff/owners were really welcoming. Owner sorted out parking for us as well which was invaluable
