Sweetest little seaside apartment! Very walkable to all things in Lyme Regis! We walked our 4 year old boys to the ocean to hunt for fossils and see the dinosaur museum. The millside restaraunt is highly recommended as is the brewery! The apartment has a beautiful nautical theme, and the delicious cookies and milk were a great touch!. We couldn't have been happier.

I have always liked Lyme Regis the coast line and atmosphere. It gets very crowded and parking can be difficult with long walks involved from out of town car parks. The sea front cafes and shops very interesting.

Quite a lot to do and see in the town.

Quite a lot to do and see in the town. Good for seaside holidays with large beach and plenty of cafes and kiosks. Some nice shops. Good base for exploring Devon. Most shops and some hotels up a VERY steep hill - I was not aware of this when booking.

Busy and interesting little resort, plenty of shops, bakeries, cafes, restaurants, a fossil museum, and fossil shops where you can buy bits of "Jurassica;" there are lots of the common ammonite-types for sale, but there's also bigger stuff like fossilised shark teeth. Definitely worth visiting for longer than we did!

Naturally beautiful place, very clean for being a busy little seaside town. Loads of lovely cool little shops and arts and crafts. Great variety of cafes and restaurants. Culture and history with Jurassic coast etc. Great spot. And great little mini aquarium. There are a lot of hills, bear this in mind. And windy streets that can result in bit of traffic congestion. But this is mostly no problem if stay near the beach.

Good location overlooking Lyme Regis. Very dog friendly and very hospitable hosts. Good clean, comfortable and well appointed accommodation for couple with a dog. Would stay at lodge again. Lyme Regis itself is a charming seaside town with good options for eating out and it seems to be kept very litter free. The town is generally dog friendly including in terms of shops and food/drink venues (- although there are some restrictions for dogs in respect of of the beach during summer season).

Beautiful Apartment with use of the lovely garden. It was comfortable and clean and had everything we needed and more. Only a short easy walk along the river into Lyme Regis. David and Angela were welcoming friendly and thoughtful. They went out of their way to give us a lift to and from the Alexandra Hotel for our Afternoon Tea which was very kind of them. They were exceptional hosts and we would definitely stay again and recommend to others. Thank you David and Angela

A very tasteful townhouse, comfortable & cosy. Lovely cakes to help yourself to & an excellent breakfast the following morning. Good location with Lyme Regis centre on your doorstep. We ate at the volunteer inn just a few yards down from Lyme Townhouse, great atmosphere & good fayre. No issue with parking as large pay car park close by & 2hr free parking on the street, no restrictions after 6pm to 7am. Would highly recommend. Thank you.

It was convenient for the town and beach, although anyone who has visited Lyme Regis knows it’s very hilly and it is quite a challenging walk back to the hotel for anyone with walking or mobility issues. The car park for the hotel was fine. The owner was helpful and the breakfast was really good.

The staff were very friendly, nothing too much trouble and the location was perfect. A dog friendly hotel also. A steep walk back up the hill from the beach/town, but good exercise! Stunning views from the rear of the property and a lovely breakfast. Handy free car park opposite.
