Check in was smooth with polite and friendly staff. The room overlooked the runway, however you couldn't hear anything which was great. We had dinner that night with plenty of options. We both went for the pizzas which were huge 😳. The room was spacious and comfortable. We loved our stay, it was just an overnight stay as we had an early flight. Being situated runway side we relaxed watching the aircraft. The shuttle was very good and reasonably priced at 4 GBP per journey. The hotel looks quite classy on entering but the rooms, "restaurant" and bar do not reflect the price of an overnight stay 150 GBP at the time of my stay. For this amount of money I expect to find a conventional restaurant rather than cheap fast food. Breakfast bar accommodates all including continental and, though I eat only a light breakfast, some may decide to get their 150 GBP at this time of day.
