Quiet hill town with lots of amenities. Well located to visit other towns if you are willing to drive. Pay VERY close attention to the information sent by the hotel about luggage drop off and pick up. We loved the location, amazing scenery and ambience of the property. It is an authentic rural family owned winery originally owned by Host’s grandparents. Guests are treated like a high class hotel. The surroundings are quiet and peaceful. The proximity to Castelina in Chianti was perfect as we shopped there at the deli and grocery store. We were also thrilled to be staying in the middle of an active vineyard. We did not use the pool however many did and it was a beautiful scene with vineyards. Our room was incredible with stunning views and within a beautiful building. Very clean. Tour of the vineyard also highly recommended. Dinner at the vineyard’s restaurant was nice but be aware this is fine dining - there aren’t really other options if you don’t have your own transport.
