The place for surfing, sun and beach life. Several kilometers of gorgeous sandy beaches and nice waves, suitable also for the beginning surfers. All the necessary services are available. This is defintely a beach town.
This is defintely a beach town. I was there in the "off season", although my visit spanned New Year's Eve and there were a lot of day-trippers. Not sure I'd enjoy the place as much as I did during peak season. I was lucky to find on-street parking close to my hostel. I would not recommend having a car here in the summer. There are many uncrowded beaches which are clean, water sports are an option. The area felt very safe. For people who want to visit Lisbon and its sights this location is a bit remote but if you want a beach style holiday the location is good.Guest review byJohnIreland - 10.0
