Everything! The hotel location is perfect, the services are amazing and so are the rooms. I have never seen such a clean service. Also, the bed was extremely comfortable and huge. I felt even better than at home and slept like a queen for the entire stay. The hotel also provides additional services on request which I only discovered by downloading the app. So I advise downloading the app as well. Breakfast was also incredible, as well as the quality of the food at the rooftop restaurant. I would always come back here.

There were so many exceptional elements. The room had beautiful finishes and a very comfortable bed. The breakfast was exceptional and offered a vast assortment of fresh fruit and juice, pastries and made to order eggs and other cooked foods. Staff went above and beyond to make sure you were happy. There was a small but well equipped gym and a very pleasant swimming pool. We felt well cared for and had a wonderful experience.

ICON Duplo Ribeira Hotel was a wonderful surprise. The location is ideal, right in the historic center and steps from the Douro. The room had a beautiful view, which made the stay even more special. Breakfast was excellent – fresh, varied, and much better than the usual hotel standard. The whole place has a distinctive fragrance that you notice as soon as you walk in, adding to the experience. Staff were warm and welcoming, and the overall atmosphere felt both stylish and comfortable. Highly recommend if you want to enjoy Porto with charm and detail.

    The walking tour around Porto was great, the Vila Nova de Gaia is great, the Museum of Photography ( ex prison ) was super interesting. Porto is a beautiful place if you like to walk uphill-downhill. People are very nice and friendly and the food is great.

    I loved the city, landmarks , history is awesome. I found the food repetitive in all restaurants with few exceptions, it is also expensive for the quality you get. Which I really disliked about Portugal in general was that restaurants close after the set lunch and dinner time of Portuguese, they basically don't care about people with other habits, which I think is not good for business , by 10:00 PM all kitchens are closed. Porto is a brivant city with limited schedule to find food. I recommend 3 places with good food in Ribeira. 1. Mescla, 2. "65", 3. Cafe do Cais. , for good wine you have Wine Box,

    Lovely city. Very busy with tourists when we were there.

    Lovely city. Very busy with tourists when we were there. We loved the river, Port caves and some of the restaurants along the river. We went on a trip up the Douro river which was beautiful. Tasted local wines and port and ate some typical Portuguese food.

    Porto has a wonderful location on the banks of the Tagus.

    Porto has a wonderful location on the banks of the Tagus. The river is a living waterway of tour boats, fishing vessels, and the Port Wine warehouses, which are worth a tour. There are numerous restaurants and bars withing easy walking distance, and the Portugese are hospitable and friendly people. Be aware that some of the streets are steeply-sloping and may be a problem for persons with mobility issues.

    Porto is a wonderful city full of tourists and so many sites to see. The river is beautiful and the atmosphere is exciting and friendly. There is a great range of tours to be had and even just walking around the city is amazing. I would highly recommend Porto to everyone.

    Excellent, beautiful n walkable city with tons of eateries!

    Excellent, beautiful n walkable city with tons of eateries! However the airport immigration queue was a nightmare!! 2.5 hour queue only 2 counters opened for hundreds of ppl, including children n old people! 😱(we saw officers went for 1 hour lunch breaks, n swapped with the other 2 officers when back. No regards for the long queue ). No ground staff were seen/ dare to walk around to check on queue or wellbeing of people. Electronic gate has a shorter queue but could only accept 6 to 8 countries passport holders. Sad thing is, alot of the machines are not in use. Ppl that failed to clear egate has to join back of long queue! Missed prebooked airport transfer due to this. Apparently this is a well known issue at Porto airport. I won't fly in to porto airport in near future, unless something has changed.

    From the moment you arrive you are met with friendly and welcoming staff. Taking care of the car, a tour of the hotel and gorgeous rooms. The breakfast was exceptional! The shampoo, soap and everything else used in the rooms smell so good and are of a high quality. The view is gorgeous and it is peaceful. It almost makes you forget that you are in a city for a moment. The reception go out of their way to assist and they do make you fé welcome. Overall from all the hotels we stayed in in Portugal, this was by far the best!

    We went to three locations in Portugal but this was our most preferred and best value for money. As this is an apartment building and not a hotel, one would be a bit concern about reception but they are right there downstairs in the adjacent building. Very friendly staff. The apartment was super clean, super spacious, with great view at a superb location. Couldn't ask for more. We will definitely go back if we ever visit Porto again

    Beautifully renovated and designed hotel with high quality finishes right in the old town with all the entertainment and facilities at your doorstep. Staff were friendly and helpful (as everywhere in Portugal). Breakfast was good quality. Beds where very comfortable. I had indicated that the (standard) rooms were really small for 2 people with large suitcases and the hotel manager kindly offered us a slightly larger room.
