It was very nice in the Holiday Inn. Bed was very good, and the personal was very nice. We had Dinner and it was all excellent. A very nice and friendly waitress. All was good! I would go there again.

The airport shuttle service was the main reason we stayed here. It is a nice hotel. We have stayed at one of their properties in Miami, FL, USA. They have a decent restaurant on site.

last minute booking for a hotel near Gatwick that had parking, many hotels have limited parking based on first come first served, as i knew i wouldnt arrive until late i needed to ensure i had somewhere to park. parked directly outside which was very convenient and only a 10 minute drive to the north terminal in the morning.

This was a quick stopover prior to our flight to Cyprus for our summer holiday. The bathroom was sufficient for our purposes, and there was adequate space for our luggage. We both enjoyed our breakfasts prior to our departure and were provided with takeout coffees during the wait for our taxi to the airport for our outbound journey.

My stay at Barrington Lodge was extremely disappointing. The room was uncomfortably hot (28°C) and there was no fan or other cooling option available. The cleanliness was poor, and when I reached out for help, there was no response from the staff or management — despite the manager clearly reading my message. Sleeping in those conditions was impossible. Completely unacceptable service and zero care for guest comfort. I do not recommend this place. Never stay at them – hot, dirty, and zero response from staff.

Historic Gateway to Gatwick

The Sussex market town of Crawley is just south of Gatwick Airport, London’s 2nd busiest passenger terminal after Heathrow.

Its train station has direct connections to Gatwick, as well as to Victoria Station in London to the north, and Brighton to the south. Set roughly midway between the 2 cities, the town has long been an important stopping place. One of its 17th-century coaching inns, the George Hotel, still exists under the name of the Ramada Crawley Gatwick and is available on Booking.com.

However, the town’s history dates back much further than that. Records show it as being a market town as early as the 13th century, and its central Goffs Park has a museum containing some Stone Age remains found here.

Tilgate Park to the south has a lake, nature reserve and one of Crawley’s 3 golf courses. The town’s other leisure activities include bowling, a movie theater and a collection of restaurants and pubs. The shopping street is a mix of historic buildings and modern shops, and more stores are found at Crawley County Mall.

Practically all of the Crawley hotels, guesthouses and country houses provide parking and a few also have features such as swimming pools and gyms.

    This hotel has had bad reviews i have travelled and stayed in many 5 star hotels and honestly could not find any faults.The reception were warm and welcoming the rooms clean and tidy no air con but fans provided Comfortable firm bed. Breakfast lots of choice and freshly cooked and dinner in the evening set meal for £12.50 each choice of 3 starters 3 main meals 3 desserts and drink.Honestly why do people complain for no reason when the staff are very helpful

    The Little Foxes was excellent and the manager booked me a cab to Gatwick for my flight the following morning - the cab company I originally reserved with had let me down. There is a local bus service (no 22) from Gatwick which stops outside Little Foxes - very convenient if you don't drive.

    I was in Crawley to visit The Hawth theatre for a show.

    I was in Crawley to visit The Hawth theatre for a show. It was a brilliant venue and I would recommend it to anyone planning a visit. The facilities were great at the staff were helpful and friendly. Large car park on site.

    I used to live in Crawley so I knew of this hotel. Tucked away behind a cul de sac looks very Tudor like. The rooms were ample big enough, warm and cosy. Hotel receptionist friendly got keys straight away. Overall room was comfy just what we needed. No breakfast or food facilities but that didn't bother us.

    This hotel is a good stay overnight so convenient to Gatwick, with a good bar and restaurant. Staff friendly and helpful, Bedroom was clean, comfy for a 1 or 2 nights stay. Parking is first come basis, no garden or seating area outside, but play area in side.
