Very friendly and helpful hosts. Comfortable bed and quiet room. Seating available in a lovely garden. Homemade breakfast. We felt like we were with family. The house is right on the Fife Coastal Path, which we were hiking.

Spacious double bedroom in happy house with shared bathroom.. Perfect for a stop off for the airport, a visit to Edinburgh or surrounding area, if you're walking the Fife Coastal Path or maybe doing LEJOG! Kitchen/dining room with bi-folds out onto the terrace overlooking our lovely garden. Kitchen available to prepare simple meals and feel free to eat inside or out on the terrace in the nicer months. Sunroom available for you to sit in if you like too. This accommodation is for private individuals who are traveling to Scotland, coming to an event, stopping off before our after a flight, etc. It is not suitable for company bookings or trades people. Please note that this property is not in Edinburgh. Transport links to and from Edinburgh are very good during the day. However if you intend travelling after 11pm transport becomes more challenging. Please check on Google maps. The 747 bus to and from the airport runs from 4am to 00:48 and then becomes less frequent. Please check.
We love welcoming guests to our home. We've done a lot of traveling around Europe and Asia and really enjoy the easy connections that are made on the road. We love doing it in reverse and meeting people from all over the world.
Inverkeithing is a small town just over the river Forth north of Edinburgh. There are shops for supplies and lots of takeaways. Our house is set in a lovely big garden, we have a few neighbours but none overlooking us so lovely and quiet. We're 10 minutes walk from the train station where there are frequent trains to Edinburgh, just a 20/25 minute ride away. And half hourly buses to the airport. There are also buses into Edinburgh if you prefer.
