It was a good budget stay, I really appreciate the person at the reception at the time of our check-out. He was super nice, very customer oriented and professional. The place is small and you can hear everything from the corridor, but for short budget stay is good enough. We really appreciate our early check-in. Clean room with basic facilities (coffee, kettle and tea, water really appreciated) and the shower was great! Shower seems new with very good water pressure (I have long hair so I appreciate is so much). Bathroom has enough space, room is quite small for 2 people with big suitcases, if you want to open them. Location is perfect, in the very heart of Southall (be ready for main street noise, the room in front of reception had great view) and just 10 mins walk to Southall station (subway, trains). Plenty of Indian restaurants around (Southall has its charm and I came specially for that on the way to my other destination), just few steps to the right when you exit the hotel, there is wonderful restaurant Poornima with amazing parathas! :D

I guess this might be the heart of the the south Asian community in London. The high street has many Punjab eateries and there is some street food, loads of clothes stores. Very lively and busy. Full of dust.
Full of dust. I am still sick of all the dust from the recent refurbishment they had. It seems they have not cleaned yet all the dust since then and they are not even planning to clean it as I had to clean myself my own room. The young person sometimes works there said he will clean it but then he did not. It was horrible for my asthma. I have tried to clean but this doesn't seem it will go away with a simple cleaning. I am still very sick from this dust. The owner anyways seems to be very understanding person even they did not refund my money back, he been very nice. Maybe after some time it will be fine and healthy to stay there. But for now I cannot recommend it...

We liked the cosmopolitan atmosphere and variety of shops to be seen, a very colourful experience. It was like going abroad to the far east without the expense and trouble of a lengthy flight. This was truly something different, and what a variety of restaurants.
