The hotel was very well kept and the room was better than expected. The on suite was excellent. We would have liked two chairs in the room as one of us had to sit on the bed. The breakfast was of a continental help your self affair. But every thing we needed was provided. The fact it was included in the room price was pleasing. All in all. A very pleasant stay and we would recommend it.

Wonderful village, deep in the Surrey countryside, popular with mountain bikers, walkers and ordinary people like me! Surrounded by the Surrey Hills, there are some terrific walks and the climb to the top of Pitch Hill is well worth it. There’s a great little shop, but most important of all, a stupendous pub, the Hurtmore Inn, whose restaurant has the biggest plates of food I have ever seen, and whose waiters (Italian) are totally adorable. The Hurtmore Hotel is just behind the pub and is also excellent.CeceliaUnited Kingdom

The staff was super friendly and accomomodating. The enclosed pub had gluten free options too and it was delicious. The provided a cot for our little baby and fixed any issues promtply. Parking was easy as well in the courtyard. Location is really good and you can hike up or bike up within 2 min. Overall it was an easy stay which made our vacation just so much more perfect. Thanks to the Hurtwood Hotel staff. You are amazing!

Our room was lovely, beautifully decorated and spotless, as was the bathroom which also had a powerful shower. TV reception and WiFi was good even though we were at the top of the building. Parking was no problem in a secure car park.The booking in process quick and painless with friendly helpful staff. Breakfast on Saturday from 8am and was very good with plenty of choice. Altogether a perfect restful stay.

The bathroom was larger than some entire hotel rooms I've stayed in. Breakfast was excellent, but beware of the large portion sizes. Very quiet for being in the middle of Surrey, and attached to a good pub. Plenty of chair/surface space for bike gear.
