The breakfast was wonderful . We also had a fabulous dinner there! The room was small but very clean and comfortable. We knew we had rented a smaller room.

A cozy comfortable B&B run by a husband & wife team who are passionate about their accommodation and put their own nice touches to the place. Rooms are clean and nicely decorated, and there is a guest hall upstairs with fresh cakes and tea/coffee. Breakfast is exceptional in both the spread and the generosity, and there is even a special item which changes daily. Lynette is very helpful, warm and welcoming and her passion makes a big difference to a great stay.

Wonderful village with excellent amenities and ideal for scenic walks followed by food! great range of cafes, pubs, hotels, fish and chips and a variety of shops. Only slight niggle is the parking is slightly expensive at £3.50 for 2 hrs or £5.50 all day - although card machines were easy to use. There is limited free parking in the village itself but limited to 2 hrs and generally full

Grassington is a lovely village in the Yorkshire Dales.
Grassington is a lovely village in the Yorkshire Dales. We’ve stayed here on many occasions and come back 2 or times a year. It’s got typical Yorkshire charm with lots of individual cafes, shops and pubs. Amazing walks on the door step.

Grassington has got be be one of the very best places to stay in the Yorkshire Dales. It is a traditional, picturesque village with all the amenities a person could want. A great base for walking and hiking.
Lynette and Dave are lovely hosts and their B&B is all you can wish for: delicious breakfast and a cosy atmosphere. It was all very clean and it's really about the little bits and pieces that make this place so special. You can feel that Lynette and Dave put a lot of work, effort and joy into it.
It's located maybe a 5 minutes walk from the river and maybe 10 minutes walk from Grassington with its pubs, little shops, etc.
It is a beautiful place and a good one to explore the Yorkshire Dales.
We were looking for a traditional B&B to stay at, on our way north. This place fits the bill perfectly. It is in a charming location in the Yorkshire Dales. Mary is a great host and made sure our stay was very comfortable. She cooked us a delicious full English breakfast in the morning. We didn't have much time there as we were travelling, but we were able to fit in a short walk down to the suspension bridge on the river Wharf and tea at the local tearoom. A very enjoyable interlude.
The staff were lovely, friendly and helpful. The room was adequate but had lovely 'add ons' such as bottled water and a selection of toiletries. There was a live band (duo) playing Saturday evening. The breakfast was good quality. Grassington in a pretty little village. It was a no frills sort of stay, but, that's what we paid for. We loved it. Highly recommend. The staff made it really, oh, and beautiful walking in Yorkshire ofcourse!
The room was quiet and clean and the bed a truly king-sized. The room had good ventilation well-covered against the early morning sun. It was in a quiet annexe to the hotel and we received help to store our bikes safely. The room was well equipped with fridge etc. so we were fine for breakfast (not part of the deal). Place is close and very convenient to the center of town but outside the major hustle and bustle.
We came for 2 nights with our granddaughters and stayed at the Devonshire hotel in the Herriot suite which was dog friendly. It was so lovely with a large kingsize bed and sofa bed with view over the village square. The staff were very friendly and the breakfast catered for everyone. A great location to reach local walks. We'll definitely return. Thankyou for making us welcome .
This apartment is a little gem. We visited at bank holiday with friends to celebrate a milestone birthday. The apartment is modern, well equipped and is very comfortable. The beds were some of the best we have slept in. The location is great too right in the centre of the village. Our friends enjoyed it so much they immediately made a booking for us to return next year.
Ashfield House is a lovely place. This was our third visit as we were taking friends from Australia to show them Grassington and the area. The location is perfect just off the little market square with many restaurants and pubs a few minutes away. The rooms are clean and comfortable, the staff are very friendly and they serve a wonderful breakfast.
This is a very old building in lovely surroundings only a few minutes' drive from Grassington.
It is a hotel that accepts dogs but is not particularly dog friendly.
The room was ok but with very noisy plumbing & a bathroom door that didn't shut properly & no lock.
The food is very nice with a good selection of drinks.
The breakfast was OK.
Lovely location and quiet, just the bird song heard mostly. Nick and Kate made us feel very welcome. We stayed in the garden suite which had everything we could need, breakfast served to us in there, what a great idea and it was very tasty. It's on our must return list when in the Yorkshire dales again.
Everything about our stay was excellent. The way we where greeted, the room the food and the staff all made our stay very memorable. First time in Grassington together with the hotel , and it wont be our last . Sue in particular, even though she was very busy, was a great host and made us feel welcome.
A great base, park the car and leave it for a few days. Grassington lovely village to stay in. Staff were friendly and worked very hard to make us feel welcome. They were doing their best to cope with all the additional difficulties that Covid protocols bring. Food good and good choice of drinks.
location of the property was fab - about a 10 min drive from Grassington (which is well worth the visit) and about half about drive from Malham cove.
The views from the hotel room were unbelievable - mountains & sheep!
Staff were very attentive - fantastic service couldn’t be faulted.
great cottage just a short walk out of the centre.
good size for 4 adults.
loads of parking space.
we loved the garden which was enclosed for our two dogs. also lovely patio to sit and enjoy the amazing views.
had a lovely time and will definitely be going again 👍
Great location with a number of local walks from the village. Our room and bed were comfortable and we appreciated the fresh milk for our tea each day. All the staff were great, nothing was too much trouble, and we enjoyed our breakfast and dinner each day.
The room was so spacious and the views overlooking the green Yorkshire Dales were so lovely. In addition, there was a lot provided such as shower accessories, lollies, hot chocolate, tea etc. Also loved the tranquil sitting room by the front door.
Really enjoyable stay in the Foresters. Beautifully located in Grassington in the Yorkshire Dales. Friendly staff, great breakfast and comfortable bed. Nice and convenient to be able to pop downstairs for a nightcap before heading up to bed.
Not many places have private parking in Grassington centre but Ashfield House does.
Very friendly welcome from all. The breakfast service was great, the food tasty & hot. A comfortable nights sleep and the shower was excellent too
