The hotelkeeper, Oktay, was the decisive factor in our wonderful stay at the Paris Hotel. He could have not been more engaging, more positive, or more helpful. He is *so proud of his hotel, of his city... He had incredible recommendations - the majority of which we would have never found on our own. We loved Oktay, and our stay at the Paris Hotel! (And the breakfast was great!)

Location and value for the money! The owner Oktay was very helpful and excellent source of information and did his best to give us a very rewarding Turkey experience! He prepared breakfast for our liking, gave recommendations for tours and restaurants and bought tickets for bus to Cappadocia and arranged taxis for bus station and the airport. The staff were also very friendly and helpful! We had a great time talking and learning about Turkey and its history and cuisine.

Great location easy walk to all the sights, staff were fantastic especially Oktay the owner/manager he was the most friendly and helpful guy I can't recommend him highly enough. Loads of reasonably priced restaurants around the area too. There's a fantastic root terrace to chill on as well

The location of the hotel is great! Close to all the major sites and public transport. The owner and staff are extremely helpful, and really do all to make your time in Istanbul great. Great breakfast, help to doing a load of laundry. Great roof top living room outdoor balcony with views on the Bosporus!

The position is super great. Went many times to Bazaar and many more times to Sophia ( open 10-10 and after 19.30 there is no line to enter and less people inside) and other interesting places. Takes 10 min to come back from the Blue mosque, change and go again to check the other bazar near by or go whenever you want. Excellent location. Manager was superb: knowledgeable about everything, culture and politics, can advise where to go and what to do. 10 stars to him.

Our family loved so many things about this property! Our suite was comprised of 2 connected rooms, each with their own bathroom, and each with beds enough to sleep 4 people. The location was walking distance to all of the amazing sites. The owner was incredibly helpful in his recommendations for how to get around the city, travel tips which proved to be spot on. He will offer knowledgeble suggestions to any questions you have about the area. Tasty piping-hot teas and coffee were available 24/7 for free. The view from the rooftop (especially at sunset) was breathtaking. Breakfast was hard boiled eggs, scrambled eggs, some meat and cheese slices, green and black olives, cereals, and different breads and pastries with many choices of toppings such as honey, Nutella, jams, and cheese spreads. All in all, it was an amazing place for our family to have a hot shower and comfortable rest after lots of sightseeing...at a budget price!

Breakfast was healthy , management Mr Oktay and Mr Durant and other staff are very humble caring and helpful, for low budget this is a good proper hotel , location is not bad and one can reach the attractions and tramway after a little walk. You can get the Taxi around the corner.

It’s a very nice , old style budget hotel , it’s close to all the touristic places but it’s in the authentic part of Istanbul , it has an amazing terrace on top of the building with views of the Bosforus , comfortable beds! And very helpful and nice staff!
