The location was fantastic because we were just a bit off the plaza and it was quiet. The staff was amazing. Saray helped us track down our lost bag from the airlines, they booked reservations at restaurants for us, answered questions regarding using the metro, etc. We cannot say enough about the service and how friendly and welcoming everyone was throughout our stays.

Everything about this hotel is lovely: the staff, our room, the location. We stayed here twice and both times our rooms were spacious and clean. Bed was very comfortable. So close to all the good restaurants and sites.

    All roads lead to Plaza Mayor.

    All roads lead to Plaza Mayor. Enjoy the ambience, wander around, take plenty of photos but do not buy anything. Over priced tourist tat. Do not be tempted to wander into any cafe, bar or restaurant - over priced and not the real Spain. Make an effort to go where the locals go and you'll see the difference. Great place, let the free tour guide tell you all about it.

    Magnificent Plaza.

    Magnificent Plaza. Just go get a cup of coffee and people watch for 2 hours. That's why I would do again and again. Great Architecture, great atmosphere, just a great place to watch the world go by.

    It was on a great location. Close to major sites such as Plaza Mayor, Mercado San Miguel, and Calle 365 and a 10-15 minutes walk to Gran Via. The apartment was clean and big. We were a family of 5 and were comfortable and had enough space for everyone. Both bathrooms were big and clean. The kitchen was nice and well equipped. Had many good restaurant and places to it as soon as you walked down the stairs.

    CavaBaja was just perfection! The location in La Latina was so close to everything. We walked to Plaza Mayor, Mercado San Miguel, The Royal Palace plus much more. Lots of dining options nearby too. The apartment was beautiful and well appointed. Beds were very comfortable and it was so nice to have AC since it was in the 90s-100s. The property manager was very responsive and did everything possible to make our stay amazing!

    The apartment was centrally located and it was easy to walk to many places in Madrid - the Prado, the Royal Palace, Plaza Mayor, Retiro Park, the Sunday flee market, etc. There are many restaurants, tapas bars, etc nearby. Over all a good location if you're into walking to venues. It was comfortable and fairly well appointed. It a nice kitchen, comfortable sofa and bed.

    With temperatures averaging 38°C it was great to have very effective air conditioning, a large powerful shower and a washing machine that was easy to use... clothes dried very quickly. It's a great base from which to visit Madrid Centro (Plaza Mayor, Museum de Prado, Retiro Park) and outlying attractions like Toledo, Sergovia, Avila and Aranjuez. Public transport is cheap and very popular and it's the best way to get around... especially the Metro, which is just a 10 minute walk from the apartment.

    Two bedrooms, two bathrooms each with its own AC unit. Three TVs to enjoy after the long walks in the city. Kitchen with coffee machine and washing machine. Beautifully decorated. Has an elevator also. Great location close to Plaza Mayor and Palacio Real de Madrid but yet very quiet apartment. It was perfect!!
