Location is fabulous for getting around best part of town including the Royal Palace and the Prado Museum. The staff was open and friendly. On my checkout day I twisted my knee and limped into the lobby. The front desk lent me a crutch till I could get a cane. Unbelievable service. The breakfasts were excellent.

Puerta del Sol

Once upon a time, a bear stood next to a strawberry tree – and an icon was born. The statue, ‘El Oso y El Madroño’ stands in this large square and is Madrid’s official symbol. The area is renowned for its clock tower attached to the royal post office, as well as assorted shops, hotels and restaurants. New Year’s celebrations are also held here – according to tradition, the locals eat one grape each time the bell tolls.

    Worst hostel in madrid after paying the money they said im overbooked no room for me and there was a room with confirmed booking and after trouble and hours i get my room first yhey said o need to pay again but after they gave my the room They spoil our trip since the first minute I lost my residance card in the histel one report it Also I found If card and gave to clean lady but when asked the manger or the respondible they said no body report my card or other card and 100000% im sure i reported i found id card I wont rever go again there and recomend to all not to go there becsuse it was the worst experince in the 60 cites traveled

    My stay here was excellent. The staff was super friendly, location was perfect and the bathroom was clean. It was right next to Puerta del Sol, so I was literally a few steps from everything, restaurants, shops, fast food places, you name it.     We had a wonderful stay at CoolRooms Atocha. The room was spacious, beautifully designed, and very comfortable after a long day of exploring Madrid. The location is ideal — just a short walk to Puerta del Sol and many of the city’s main attractions. Special thanks to Chris at the front desk, who was exceptionally friendly and helpful throughout our stay. His warm welcome and thoughtful recommendations made us feel truly at home. Highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Madrid!

    The location is right in the center of Madrid, minutes away from the Puerta del Sol, the apartment has everything one needs, being very modern, clean and comfortable, also easy to find and access. The host is very welcoming and helpful. We found chocolates and champagne waiting for us inside the apartment with a welcoming note. The cost was affordable and of great value.

Very small room and bathroom but you wouldn't want to spend much time in the hotel would you, given the excitement of the city. Given the price and the location, totally acceptable

    Exceptionally clean--striking the minute we came through the door. Quite a large apartment, and the location was wonderful, near the Puerta del Sol, in walking distance of the Prado and the Plaza Mayor. Jorge, the manager, went above and beyond, and the price was exceptionally good.

    The hostal is located near a market, restaurants and transportation access. 20 minutes walking distance from Puerta del Sol. Cecilia, who is in charge of the check-in and cleaning, was very friendly and helpful. One day I didn't noticed I dropped my credit card on the floor and left the room to go sightseeing, they found it when they cleaned the room and messaged me immediately to let me know that they found the card. I would stay in this hostal again when I visit Madrid next time.
