We liked everything about Palazzo Velabro. Its location is ideal for visiting the Coliseum and it is near one of the Hop-on-Hop-off bus stops. It has a nice terrace for drinks and snacks, plus its staff is super! Our room was perfect.

The staff were excellent, very friendly and helpful.

I liked everything about my stay . So nice personal , good location and nice breakfast.

The location is great, walkable to the main tourist attractions and Trastevere where is a lively neighborhood full of restaurants! All hotel staff are so kind, helpful and adorable. Pasquale and Mia are especially caring, helping us with our needs

Amazing unique property. Soothing materials, a restful oasis!

The staff. The room with a small terrace. The colors in the room..

The bells of San Francesco church tolling as a wake up call, was very pleasent

Loved this place! Smooth and simple self-check in process. They even offered to store our luggage after checking out. Place was super clean and I loved the wall paper & furnishings in our room. Right outside our window was a grape vine, the entrance has a bunch of beautiful flowers and a public water tap was just around the corner. It was a great place to cool off and rest after a long day of sight seeing. Also cool to learn that this place was a former monastery! Neighbor hood was fantastic. Immediately vicinity was calm and quiet but you are only a short walk away from bars and restaurants. The Colosseum, Palatine Hill and Roman forum were less than a 20 minute walk away.

The best hotel in trastevere lovely staff clean big rooms

Staff was so accommodating. I arrived very early so they were so nice to hold my bags. I love the location as trastevere , for me, its the best area in Rome. And this hotel is a few blocks away from the pedestrian area. And close to the tram!

I want to convey my deep gratitude to the staff of this hotel, they treated us with such respect and responsiveness, we are delighted! Very good and tasty breakfasts! I want to mention all the employees, thank you very much, you are wonderful people, prosperity to your hotel❤️ with love, your guests from Kazakhstan

You get what you pay for, the staff is nice and the rooms are clean

So many things to like about this place: One of the best possible locations in Rome, just outside the tourist flows, but still close enough to everything (some 10 mins on foot to Circo Massimo, and another 7 or so to the Colloseum) in a green and quiet oasis full of hidden gems (in particular various chruches and Benedictine monasteries). Clean, comfy rooms with generous balconies, and all the luxury one needs, but nothing ostentatious. Decent breakfast buffet (although it can get a bit boring over several days) with sufficient salty choice, unlike most bars in Italy which will only serve you sweet stuff for breakfast. And above all nice and helpful (and fortunately not intrusive or overly eager to please) staff whether at breakfast, cleaning or front desk (and thinking here of signore Ettore in particular).

The location on L’Aventino is most beautiful and peaceful. The staff, particularly Mr. Vicenzo, who was most helpful, professional and courteous.

Location and easy walking to everywhere, also close to comute (bus etc.).

Going back for the second time to this cozy small hotel with nice and comfortable room and above all very welcoming staff. Special thanks to Gabriel at reception.

Great location. Quiet neighborhood away from the tourist zones. Quick bus ride/metro ride to the rest of Rome.

The location was perfect. 10min walk from the colosseum. We did everything by walking. The staff were very nice and the breakfast was very good. The room is practical and clean. However, make sure you bring an adapter for the charger. Only one type C electrical outlet was available in the room. The others were type L

Good location, 10 minutes to the metro station 👌🏻
