- From $503.58 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.6Excellent - What previous guests thought, 306 reviewsThe location was fantastic, so close to everything. It was beautiful walking along under the swaying Palm trees in both directions. We had 3 pools to choose from. Our room was located on the top floor, which meant we had an unobstructed view of the main pool and the beautiful entrance, lined with palm and botanical plants. Our apartment was amazing, a home-from-home feel with a huge corner built-in settee. It was clean, tidy, and very well presented. Our bed was so comfy, we had our apartment cleaned and new linens provided without a request to do so. At night, it became a magical Oasis with the night lights enhancing the beauty of everything around it.Guest review bySusanNew Zealand
- From $117.24 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 7.8Good - What previous guests thought, 2,009 reviewsI loved staying here! Nothing was too much trouble, I arrived at midnight and my arrival was perfectly taken care of. The aircon was on, curtains closed and the room was all ready for my arrival. The room smelt gorgeous and was well appointed with everything you could want. Cooker, fridge, kettle, sink, microwave etc etc Shower hot and powerful, air con was responsive and effective. Bed comfy and the variety of pillows was a great idea. Great size room and bonus of big balcony! Really enjoyed staying here I'm a frequent traveller and rate Cairns City Palms highlyGuest review byKynance23Australia
- From $154.75 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 7.9Good - What previous guests thought, 1,778 reviewsSuper clean room, and the friendly, attentive staff impressed me right off the bat. The hotel was located within walking distance of all the Cairns attractions that I visited. The kitchen had everything I needed during my stay. The beautiful pool was clean and serene, and it never had more than a couple people in it at a time. I extended my stay here twice! Also, the manager accomodated a late checkout without hesitation. Would stay here again if I return to Cairns.Guest review byDebbieUnited States
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 8.8Excellent - What previous guests thought, 865 reviewsThere are tons of activities, several pools, water slides, pedal car rentals, sport courts etc. Fun restaurant and snacks on location. Spacious well equipped and clean room. Great porch. The staff were excellent and very helpful. You can book a lot of activities (day tours, snorkeling, etc.) in the front desk and they pick you up from the parkGuest review byEranIsrael
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 9.2Wonderful - What previous guests thought, 318 reviewsThe views were good and the stay was excellent. The pool was nice since we couldn't swim at the beach for stingers. A cyclone and flooding near here had just occurred making the ocean water murky. The pool did get warm though which was disappointing in the hot temperatures. The convenience of restaurants within walking distance was a plus!Guest review byTeresaUnited States

Cairns is busy and has a lot going on.
Cairns is busy and has a lot going on. It possibly suits younger people more. If you’re after reef trips or island trips it’s perfect. If you want a less action packed pace you should probably head to Port Douglas.Guest review byLindaUnited Kingdom - 10.0

Palm Cove had a laid back vibe, great beaches and views and lots of places to eat. The restaurants were good quality with plenty of seating. There are numerous spas for massages and treatments and some beachy clothes shops. A shopping centre with a Coles supermarket was only a few minutes drive away.Guest review byMelindaAustralia - 10.0

The beautiful breeze was lovely whenever I sat on a comfortable seat on the grass near the beach... We thought the views were amazing in every way we turned on the walkway across the road from the Agincourt Beachfont...We will be returning. It will most likely be in the winter though, as humidity is very high in the summer for us, as a couple from the central coast, in N.S.W. Thank you! It is close enough for a drive to Cairns, Port Douglas and other beautiful spots.Guest review byMoniqueAustralia - 6.0

The North Cairns area can be noisy because of its location near the airport. Road noise is also a concern during the day because the apartment is on the1st floor and no sound barriers between its balcony and the road nearby. Overall, though, the noise level greatly reduces in the evening and did not affect our sleeping at night.Guest review byColin J.Australia - 8.0

A good alternative to the much trendier and therefore pricier northern beaches of Trinity Beach and Palm Cove. And definitely much quieter! A comprehensive shopping strip on the main street and of course not far from the large shopping complex at Smithfield. A few restaurant options available, including the yacht club. There is a bus service into Cairns CBD, but I would recommend hiring a vehicle for your stay. Taxis are very expensive.Guest review byRuss & JulieAustralia - 10.0
If you have a hire car, Westcourt is a good place to stay.
If you have a hire car, Westcourt is a good place to stay. Away from the mad tourist traffic and late-night city noises. Just a two-minute drive to the Esplanade, Cairns Station, major shopping centre and the city centre.Guest review bySwan - 10.0

Situated close to the airport made travelling easy. Property is gated so felt safe and secure. Having a local personal contact helped with knowledge fior eating out and shopping. Situated is so convenient for visitors to Cairns and so many locally based things for visitors to Queensland.Guest review byJaneUnited Kingdom - 10.0

Beautiful, quiet and relaxing (wasn’t crowded at all when we were there in June). Seems to be off the beaten path for tourists—seemed to be more locals there, so probably not typically as crowded as some of the more well known beaches. We probably wouldn’t have known about it if we weren’t staying at a house on the beach. Neighborhood is quiet and beautiful, although not a ton of beach parking for visitors. Beautiful walking path, small playground, picnic tables, incredible sunrises, sand is soft and silky, water is warm to wade in, however, swimming is not recommended due to possible crocodiles.Guest review byAnonymous - 10.0
