I got the room with Matterhorn view and it did not disappoint me. The weather was great and can see the Matterhorn during my full stay. The room was big and bed was comfy. Breakfast selection was great plus loved that they have rice on their breakfast menu. Being asian, rice is a staple, so I was so happy that it was part of their menu. Their staff was very accommodating. The location was great too.

The hotel's breakfast was prepared quite adequately according to Swiss conditions. I can say that the beverage menu is narrow. It is located on the main street in the most central part of the town of zermatt. It has its own restaurant under it and dinners can be eaten here. The fascinating view of the Matterhorn mountain can be seen from the room of the hotel. It is a very nice activity to listen to the music in the morning and watch the scenery on their small balconies. The beds and pillows of the hotel are very nice. When this comfort is combined with the fresh air of the town of zermatt, a perfect sleep emerges.

Everything was brilliant, the property is located in a very pristine location up top, the porter service was excellent once your arrive at the zermatt train station, everything is taken care off. The reception staff were very friendly and helpful throughout the check in process, the rooms with the balcony had an amazing Matterhorn view, even the outdoor heated pool is magical & a must try during your stay. The hotel staff were polite and kind.

Beautiful hotel with good food and service. An employee met us at the trainstation to collect and bring the guests in nice electric cars. Our luggage was being brought to our room. And what a room we had, view of the top of the Matterhorn. Beautiful. The breakfast next morning was good and the shuttle service of the hotel dropped us on time at the station to go back to Täsch.

In my opinion, this is the best hotel in Zermatt. The service is very friendly and well organized. The reception staff is very attentive. The hotel manager even arranged for me to leave one day earlier without losing any money. The breakfasts are wonderful. Special praise to Monika from the reception.

As a family leisure, we went for the suite, excellent for two adults and two children, everyone enjoyed it. The spa area is not big, but excellent for a few people, Sauna rooms are very designed and maintained. Breakfast was good. The restaurant OVIS was excellent, the chef, staff, food was amazing.

Great location, only 5 minutes walk from the Zermatt station. Don’t forget to call the hotel for pick up! No regret to pay a premium for a room with the Matterhorn view. I am not a fan of traditional interior decor and furniture, so ZERMAMA definitely matches my preference.

The hotel is in an amazing location and is easy to get to on the gornergrat train. It’s great for skiing. The room was spacious and clean, the WiFi was good. The spa facilities were nice and modern and never too busy. All the staff were very nice and helpful.

A bit pricy in general, but probably the best ski resort in the world. Amazing infrastructure, top quality snow guaranteed in the Matterhorn Paradise area, and great ambience and leisure offer in the resort. Weather also tends to be good as the big mountain ridge often stops weaker weather systems coming from the SW

We only had 1 day in Zermatt for hiking but we were...

We only had 1 day in Zermatt for hiking but we were recommended to look in Tasch for a place to stay for the night as it was a more economical choice than Zermatt. We found an excellent hotel, right across from the train station that exceeded our expectations. It was a perfect place to stay after a full day of hiking in Zermatt. We weren't able to explore Tasch too much, so would love to go back!

Very nice aan idyllic place if you like to relax and hike. Great place to roam around and visit other places from there. Zermatt was a bit disappointing, but it was also off season. Nice for an afternoon, but beter to stay in Randa.

Our experience of Blatten was amazing! We were blown out by this little gem! We went up the cable car, had some drinks, came down and some more by the restaurant across the street. From our cabin we walked down to a restaurant and had a food experience of a lifetime!

Beautiful place with the Matterhorn overlooking the village of Zermatt. Skiing is the best as the region is vast and the three ski areas are interconnected. They continue investing in ski lift facilities. There is a vast choice of restaurants and cafes. Only watch out is the high prices of everything. Ski lifts prices are dynamic so if it is sunny and a weekend they charge you more. Hotels are overpriced so that one pays the price of a 4-5 star hotel for a 3 star "Garni" or Inn. Restaurants are 20-30% more expensive than a major city in Switzerland. Budget wise, a family of 4 will pay on average Chf 1,000 per day in Zermatt, including hotel, ski lifts, and meals.

We've skiied all over the US and Canada.

We've skiied all over the US and Canada. This was our first European ski experience. The town of Zermatt is as good or better than any ski town (breck, Banff, Park City, etc). The skiing was great - early season so the Italian side was better. Highly recommend getting the 5 day lift tix with access to both Swiss and Italian slopes. We were there over Christmas - super high season - and never had to wait more than a few minutes to cue for a lift/ gondola/ train. Many shopping and dining options in Zermatt. The car-free nature of the town made for a lovely experience!

The prices are much more reasonable than in Zermatt, and it is practically the last village you can reach by car. So in my opinion it is very good to sleep in Täsch and travel by train to Zermatt. The trains are every 20 minutes.
