- Scored out of 10, guest rating 9.3Wonderful - What previous guests thought, 713 reviewsThis is a hidden gem! Beautiful boutique hotel with a cute dog theme. Each space in this historic building has been beautifully decorated. There are loads of nice extra touches; gifts for your dog along with a Polaroid camera to take pictures for the pet guest book, a beautiful outdoor covered fire lounge area, well maintained gardens. The dining and indoor spaces are lovely. Very good breakfast. The rooms are spacious, comfortable beds, bathrooms are gorgeous with high end soaps and products. There is a great selection of teas. My favorite was Kevin in the pub because I was there with a dog, and I couldn't go in the restaurant so we spent most of our time in the pub. He was very welcoming and we not only enjoyed the pub atmosphere but also the great food that was served in the pub. The location is so beautiful. Our room was spacious and clean. If I'm ever in the area I will most definitely stay here again. I loved it.Guest review byDebraUnited States

Guided tours of the town are available. Surrounding area many attractions eg Jane Austen's house, Gilbert White's house and a number of National Trust propertiesGuest review byianUnited Kingdom - 8.0

A pleasant small town that seems to offer everything you need, it has plenty of shops and a number of pubs and eateries on the High Street. Frequent trains and buses to Portsmouth and Gosport, and very close anyway to the M27 for those driving.Guest review byOwenUnited Kingdom - 10.0

We cannot recommend Lyndhurst House enough!
We cannot recommend Lyndhurst House enough! It is such a beautiful house with charming and unique rooms. It felt very homely, and our hosts, Alison and Nick, were incredibly kind and helpful, recommending great places to eat and even suggesting a route for one of our days. The breakfast was delicious and very filling - definitely worth it! We enjoyed freshly cooked dishes, as well as fresh fruit, yoghurt, and the usual coffee and tea. We stayed on the upper floor and had the best night’s sleep, as it was very quiet there. Everything was spotless. A wonderful stay and a real gem - we will definitely be back!Guest review byAnonymous - 8.0

The White Hart Was a great choice for us for a couple of nights. We were room only so can’t comment on the breakfast but we eat there in the evening and it was all good. We could recommend Hook Tandoori and Cafe Baristas for breakfast. There’s not a lot in the village but Farnham is not far and a lovely Town.Guest review byIanUnited Kingdom - 8.0
