The view and aspect of the apartment. Bright and fresh when you walk through the door. Loved the style of the decor and lovely bathroom and shower.location was brilliant. All the recommended pubs, restaurants, and coffee spots were excellent. Sebastions restaurant was fabulous, Had a gin and pint at Two Brewers pub. It was so nice to walk to the Long Walk just along the street and also see the castle and gates. We walked the whole way to the King George statue and watched the kings deer, pheasants, partridge, and stunning views.

We didn't find the dishwasher which was under the oven until last day. Should have looked harder 🤭😆

The room was charming and cozy. The location was wonderful, just in front of the sea and close to nice restaurant and the main street. Before my arrival, the host was super friendly and was available to add one pillow to the room because I had some neck problem those days, and to send me some taxi numbers to book in advance for the last day. Checking in and checking out was easy to do.

The room's heating system was insufficient. The centralized system would turn off every two hours at most, and the other small heater was insufficient to warm up the room. When we arrived late evening, the temperature was only 14 degrees Celsius. The exact temperature persisted throughout the night unless we set an alarm to wake up and switch the heating system back on. My friend had caught a cold, and the situation was really unhealthy for her. On the second day, I contacted the host to request a second blanket due to the issue with the room temperature but received no response.

Made us feel very welcome. The room was wonderful, light, bright, and clean. Even had a dog bowl and blanket laid on for our dog. Breakfast was very, very good. There are lots of options and good value for money. Staff in the restaurant were wonderful, making both of us and our dog very comfortable.

Andrew and Linda were so welcoming and the property was beautifully decorated and immaculate. Our room was cosy and so peaceful. The location was ideal for us and we loved every minute of our stay. The breakfast was all local produce and it was the ideal base for a North Yorkshire getaway!

The hotel is close to the tram from the airport. It's a bit of a walk to the Grassmarket and Old Town but it's easy to find. There are plenty of restaurants and shops nearby that serve both breakfast, lunch and dinner.

This used to be a good hotel but standards have dropped. We had to ask to move rooms because the tv didn’t work, the room was poorly maintained, noisy workmen outside, no soap or toilet roll and only had a side view of the sea when we had booked a sea view. Meal on first night inedible
