  The owners made our stay welcoming. They have gone beyond what they offer. They have made every effort to make our stay pleasant and comfortable. Would highly recommend and would stay there again

  The room was a bit cold but not to the owner's fault. We could have asked for extra heating but we didn't. So no points against them.

  Great location, lovely hotel! The Triumph Bar was a surprise! The facilities were great. Staff were super friendly on reception and at the bar. Marco Pierre restaurant food was first class.

  Breakfast was good although pastries were a little dry and no hash browns but other than that an excellent choice of food. Reception toiletries rather over priced. Marco Pierre Restaurant supervisor didn’t really know the menu.

  Breakfast needs more plain choices as everything is alternative taste wise hubby likes good old cooked brekkie. Being told we have purchased a pale ale from behind reception which wasn’t true. We hate pale ale as well! Someone had a drink and put it on our room. When we arrived lobby had no seats avail so we headed out for drinks instead. Shower leaked when in it so bath mat was soaking wet as you came out. Need bigger cups for brekkie tea

  Checking in is at a hotel 1/2 a mile away, drive back to the apartment, struggled to find our parking spot (not signposted) and the key card didn’t work, called the hotel receptionist and she drive to us with another key card, I ran out to meet her in the one way system, ran back to the room and the new card didn’t work! Found a lovely guy work works for the hotel, he tried to help us by going to get another key card, this new key card still didn’t work!! He then called the owner of the boathouse who didn’t seem to care at all, the guy then drive back to the hotel and got another key card. This one actually worked, but by this point we’ve been almost 1.5hrs trying to get in! Missed dinner, was late to a show that was booked, absolutely ball ache! They need someone closer to the property to deal with check ins etc. also didn’t go for our breakfast as it was so inconvenient having to drive 1/2 mile up the road. I must say though, Matt who works for the property was amazing and did all he could to help us out.
