This accommodation is ideal for anyone who wants to get away and relax. Ann and Ian were perfect hosts, a lovely welcome pack of homemade bread and cakes, along with milk, bacon and butter provided. The Byre is clean and cosy and quiet location, with Ticehurst village walking distance. Look forward to returning soon.

Ian and Tracy were friendly and welcoming, nothing was too much trouble.Ian even took the time to take us to Exmouth railway station, as it was pouring with rain. The breakfasts were excellent. The bed was comfortable and we had a good few nights sleep and lovely stay. We would definitely make a return visit.

Nice location with it being so close to the sea and the view from the room was amazing to wake up to super big windows which was nice

The parking wasn’t the best, didn’t enjoy leaving my car out on the street, it also felt like I was taking up spots for people that actually lived on that street, looks like there is a decent size car park behide the hotel would be nice if that was opened for customers, was disappointed the restaurant wasn’t open

The main entrance door was abit hard to close. Sorry for slamming it xx It's not a bad point but just a preference I thought the side bed lamps were a little too big. But no biggie👍🤣
