We stayed there for 4 nights and everything was great. The house is big and comfortable with all the facilities available. The tram station is 3 mins by walk and a minute walk away there is a huge park. The owner is kind, friendly and welcoming. My family had a great time at this place.

This property does not make it clear it is a hostel. I was very surprised to find this out on arrival. It is just called 'St Christophers'

We had booked up an ensuite room. We had this but the bathroom had a door to the main hallway. It was an accessible toilet. We locked the door from the inside so we had it to ourselves. We opted to not have the room cleaned because all it would take for a cleaner to leave this public door unlocked and then someone would have access to our bedroom. The coffee maker worked day one, then when it was filled up, leaked all over the place. We could not use the coffee maker. The accessible bathroom is very uncomfortable (small sink, low down) for people who don't have accessibility issues. There were no places to hang any clothes -- not one place. The area outside our room needs better soundproofing.

There was an all night party going on in the next hotel (Royal Exeter) that finished at 5am. When we got to our room we had wondered what the earplugs were for that were left on the bedside cabinets!
