  Location is great right in the heart of Mallaig. The Inn seems to be one of the main social venues in the village and was full of locals and tourists which gave it a nice vibe. The dinner menu has a superb variety of dishes available at reasonable prices. My group of friends (18 of us) all enjoyed our evening meal and drinks there. Very handy location for a stop over if getting the ferry to or from Armadale on Skye. Breakfast was ok too.

  Opened the door when we got there and was a horrible smell. It wouldn't go away, even after spraying deodorant. Toilets are a bit wiffy as well, even though it was clean

  Charming and quaint house in a rural setting just off the A1 so perfect for overnight on the way north or south.

  Can’t really find any fault. Only comment is that a sign outside the house would be helpful. The neighbour I asked was very nice, but I’m sure she must be asked quite a lot where the old school house is!

  We stayed in room 5 no problems until a late arrival, approximately 2.00 in the morning were in the room above and the floorboards where VERY noisy. Perhaps room on the ground floor should be allocated to Kate arrivals.
